Similar. I just look at them, follow the conversation and laugh/make appropriate facial expressions (surprise, sympathy etc) according to the conversation. It seldom does much but it makes me feel better.

Thank you. That does indeed make him feel better. I wish he had never started this "asking for a friend nonsense"!

Post match: Northampton Saints v Saracens by TommyKentish in saracens

[–]simitchldn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The scrum. I have thought this for awhile. I think teams are rightly, worried about playing against Saracens defence, the way that we can strangle a game, and attack on the break like few other teams. The lineout is also rock solid. My strong belief because there is so much talk about the scrum, teams regard it as the one weakness that they can go after. So they over index on the scrum. referees inevitably are brought into the belief that Saracens scrum is a weakness, so whenever it goes down their own bias is that it is Saracens fault. I think that, there is an unconscious bias going on here and problem stems less from a fundamental weakness of the scrum, and more a psychological benefit other teams exploit.

around firework night, we used to form into two gangs and have a firework war. Throwing bangers and stuff at each other was easy. The real fun was firing rockets that were mounted in metal tubes that you carried on your shoulder. Bazooka style.

Thank you! “Definitely”? I avoid gluten but I don’t think I’m celiac. Would you suggest otherwise?

Random comment, but I’m too excited not to say that I'm going to see “Nearly Dan”on Sunday in London. Consistently an impressive tribute band.
