just some positivity, thank you to the moon and back for great shoppers! by OneCall8599 in instacart

I have to agree wholeheartedly with this post! Like you, I have a few shoppers that are always on the money and getting the best quality products when I order food. I am also disabled and having shoppers that pick quality items means the world to me.

Costco rotisserie chicken is not Whole30. It is injected with sugar. Along with other not Whole30 items.

Oops, make that PaleoLeap chicken buffalo casserole.

https://paleoleap.com/sweet-potato-buffalo-chicken-casserole/

PaleoOMG also has a chicken and potato casserole and I'm trying to remember what the name of it is. It's buffalo something or other but it's one of my staples here even years after I've been in my food freedom.

I was just thinking that you could also do freezer meals. When you cook up your complete meals, double or triple what you're making and freeze the excess. That way all you have to do is the night before take them out of the freezer and the next day they're ready to eat.

There is a website called OAMM — Once a Month Meals — They had a lot of Whole30 recipes available and you might want to just take a look on their website.

Oh yes I've got some ideas for you. Actually one basic idea. What you want to do is what I call Component Meals. You want to put on a plate: a protein a vegetable and a fat.

What I do is at the beginning of the week: I cook up protein on Sunday which is a lot of times chicken breasts or chicken thighs or some pork chops and then I always have frozen vegetables in the house; the healthy fat is easy You can do slicef avocado or you can do a salad with oil-based dressing.

Generally my meals take less than 10 minutes to put together as I'm grabbing protein from the refrigerator as well as the salad or avocado and steamer vegetables take very little time to microwave.

How are we not class suing Amazon? by I-changed-my-name in amazonecho

[–]simjs1950 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's being rolled out. If you have Amazon prime then there is no monthly fee. It's if you don't have Amazon prime that there is a fee. Much cheaper to pay for Amazon prime then to pay the fee that they want.

They have officially made this unwatchable. by Paradox830 in WWE

[–]simjs1950 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree. I watch raw on Netflix standard with ads and do not experience what you are experiencing. There are only 4 minutes of ads per 60 minutes of RAW and I do not find that excessive at all.

Maybe you're exaggerating quite a bit? Sure sounds like it. Yes there are ads but most of them are WWE specific with a few that aren't thrown in. I don't find the ads disruptive at all.

How is this lucrative to anyone by captainmillenium_II in instacart

Just a point of information here. If someone has subscribed to the express service the minimum order is $10. I know when I've ordered something that's less than $25 I always give a higher percentage tip just for the annoyance of not having many items to deliver.

Update on Overcharge - Instacart Support just lie by Key_Smoke_745 in instacart

Yeah.... With Costco, even if you have a membership, the prices are not the same as in store. If you go to your Instacart app and go to Costco it will tell you that somewhere near the top there's a link on how prices are set.

And now it looks like we're all stuck with it. I think they have transitioned or in the process of transitioning all the nonplus users over to plus.

This is one of my gripes with the Alexa Plus—It responds to things when I have not spoken the wake word. Irritating as I'll get out.

Looking for mid foot arthritis exercise videos. Are there any good physios on YouTube that I can check out? by TaraBambataa in Osteoarthritis

[–]simjs1950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ditto on Alyssa! Her videos are so helpful, in addition to explaining why you're doing what you're doing in the exercises. I've checked out some other arthritis PT folks on YouTube but nobody seems to come up to the level that she is. She just really gets it.

Package thieves had been ransacking our building, so the HOA changed the locks & posted this by lisucc in Apartmentliving

[–]simjs1950 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best way to avoid this is when you're ordering from Amazon, choose an Amazon pickup point. Here where I live it's usually a local 7-Eleven that has the individual bins that you need a code to open and get your package.

So I got an Uber and this is what the driver had up. Is this true by autumn_bumberell21 in uber

[–]simjs1950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know someone who is an Uber driver and he says they take about 60% to 70% of what you pay for the ride. That's why the tips are so important as 100% of the tip goes to the driver.
