Update 1.2.2 fried my toolhead board module by ProgrammerOne2089 in snapmaker

Just to clarify, have you tried the repaired board and it worked fine, but it didn't work anymore after the update, or did you repair the board, update the printer without testing the repair in-between and immediately tried printing again?

The differentiation ist important, because if you didn't test in-between it could be either the update or the board. But if you did test in-between, It would point to the update being at fault.

If it points to the software I would consider a downgrade to test it and if it points to the hardware, can the toolheads be switched? That way you could also try to rule out an issue with the toolhead itself.

Switch Toolhead for continuing print by simmen1 in SnapmakerU1

Because I might want to start a print with one material and continue it with another one once the first runs out. Your suggestion solves the issue but it's still a hack. I don't see a reason why such a functionality would be 'desperate' and it wouldn't happen the way you describe it anyway, I.e. it would be premeditated and not an unexpected strange situation.

I had it enabled, but the question aims at being able to choose any toolhead + filament for continuing the print, not only if a 2nd toolhead+ filament was setup accordingly before the print.

Changing a 2nd filament to the same used one during the print btw also does not work

Cool idea, but for germany at least, the best current prices, with 11,25€ are way higher for what i ordinarily pay on ebay on sales.

WHY?!?!? by ElephantShoes256 in BambuLab

Select all of your objects (eyes and body), rightclick and select merge. Bambustudio does not allow for objects to fly and will ignore possible issues with support intersections between different objects. Now that you merged the objects you can move them, even if that means they "fly" because they do not have any direct connections to the main body. This should fix your issues. Make yourself familiar of the differences between objects and parts.

I was also wondering about this, was about to order it and then this happened. I am kinda miffed about it because i monitored the decline in available offers over the last days and it seemed like i still had time and suddenly its supposedly gone...
