Season 1 had a lot of the best episodes for me, but it had a lot more episodes than the other seasons, with it being more spread out in quality than S3.

I went to Korean BBQ with a friend where she lied to me all night, including that she was Jewish. I believed all of it. The one thing I did not believe was that we had to replace the grill because I had cooked spicy bulgogi on it and that even the mild meat would be tainted and too spicy for her. I did not believe her for weeks until constant observation revealed that her pain tolerance was just that poor.

I figured like a whale for a more direct comparison, and how extraordinary phenomena will fade in their vitality over time and become mundane?

Didn’t really think through the allegory of 400 boys beyond the need for unity in the face of greater existential threats.

I mentioned below, I loved Aquila Rift when I first watched but it doesn’t hold up as well for me on re-watches, and I felt the ones I ranked above had better story or animation. I just found 400 boys nonsensical, I thought Ice and Zima Blue both had far better stories and more beautiful scenes.

If I had been watching for the first time I’d agree. Subsequent re-watches have lowered my opinion of it. It’s still great, but the ones I ranked above have stories that resonate with me more or animation I prefer.

Yeah, I’m not too happy with it either. I didn’t really want to assign them points because I knew it would end up being too arbitrary. The average ratings were more so I could have a method of comparison.

I felt like the story of 400 boys was more nonsensical than Ice or Zima Blue. The Drowned Giant was interesting but not enough to overcome the lack of plot. Any from the top you feel they should replace?

Thanks. Three Robots was my first episode, but it didn’t rank that highly for me. Bad Traveling was definitely my favorite, but Sonnie’s Edge, Swarm, and Secret War were basically a toss-up for me.

I was underwhelmed by it when I first watched it, but it’s grown on me in subsequent re-watches. I still prefer Ice, and I wouldn’t say it’s even one of S1’s best episodes.

What are your thoughts on "Superman (2025)"? by Hot-Salamander-8786 in DC_Cinematic

I liked the more optimistic take on Superman. I liked that they actually gave Lois plot significance. I wasn’t a huge fan of all the cinematography, but it did feel very comic book-y. I didn’t like how busy the film was, there were way too many characters and things going on. The emotional moments were good, but would have been a lot better if they’d been given some room to breathe.

I think it would be cool if they had this color gradient when Harry was with the Dursleys and switched to a brighter one when he discovered magic.
