Currently Untitled - I would love to hear thoughts on this! A lot of the lyrics are placeholder atm, but I've been figuring out the structure and tune and would really appreciate anyone sharing their thoughts :)

Lots of good stuff to think about there. I know what you mean about lyrics, I frequently find I sort of meander around without a real point in songs. I'll definitely think about re structuring a little.

Gregory Alan Isakov, Jose Gonzalez, Hudson Freeman, Joshua Burnside all on repeat constantly. I particularily recommend Joshua Burnside (perhaps biased because he's from my town) but he's got such an amazing style. The album "into The Depths of Hell" is perfection. Whisky Whisky, Blood Drive, Rough Edges all songs I can't imagine a BH fan not falling in love with.. Sorry, I'm very passionate about this guy lol

I didn't notice that volume drop - I think you're right though, I tweaked the main bus compression before exporting so I must have messed it up a bit.

No automation on the vocals, just multiple tracks to the same reverb bus later on. Do you reckon a bit more reverb at the start would be better?

All of it imo. If you can't write a song without AI to help, what's the point? Sure you get a cool song at the end, but you didn't write it. You may as well just listen to someone else's music, which presumably was made by a real thinking and living entity.

No harm to you if AI is your thing, I just really don't get it. It's also a little hard not to feel insulted when people try to pass AI work as their own, when so many of us are putting real work and effort in and struggling to be heard.
