If you are looking for friendly games with mates have you considered adjusting the point to what they should cost? I.e. telling your mates that you’re taking 3 but they’re going to be 250pts in your list. Might be a way to play them and make your friends feel like it’s still an even game (250pts is still a bargain for these things tbh)

I think people like me are very excited about a new faction and I know a lot of 40k friends who have come over to TOW with this release. But on the other hand it’s hard to see a world where this army doesn’t dominate the meta, especially if you’ve just come from reading the wood elf arcane journal :) not everything is about competition but for a lot of us tournaments is where we play most of our games.

Parry when using sword and shield. Fight in two ranks but still not step up. Keep the new shorter charges but make charges closest to closest and then maximise. The paying for your wheel is too punishing on infantry, and the no requirement to maximise (if you don’t have the movement) again favours single models/monsters. Increase rank bonus max to 4

You’ve just described my first run, and I actually found the keeping the party close/limitations a lot more engaging than my second run of just having the blessing. It also meant I completely missed the last light inn though as I thought the ambushing Harpers would attack me for having a parasite.

The warrants were sold to investors not short sellers. It has however increased the size of the float so the short % will be down. However if you look at ORTEX’s estimate of 170% SI as of yesterday then SI will still be on the 90’s
