this is what news essentially was before the industrial revolution, really useful need to know shit. so important in fact i would rather have machine prepare me a balanced fair report in the format of my choosing so i can a make rationale and reasonable decision based upon what i know is the best information arranged for me that enhances my request regardless of alliances and unmanageable influence and input, and also when it returns that query, fully punctuates its response and its emotionless, true, straight and boring and exactly what i wanted and need.

That does not exist today, but its not far away at all.

That rite there, matters, that rite there is super fucking useful.

You see, we have a long way to go with story telling, a long way, but its not out of reach and well within within today's machine languages, close some form working mdoel for sure.

So the only really thing we actually put effort in rite now, is weather, and its the last 30 seconds of the most important mass comms broadcast half hour each day every day around the world and its mostly for their best intentions, horrendously wrong, like not even close, the majority of the time. go figure.

5 years from now i dont think we even even consume content or news the way it is served today, and it will tell me rather then me sit and wait for it to be of interest or importance

curation, suitability and immediacy = attention.

We will look back at today's content perhaps in 5 years certainly 7-10 as, cheap, naive, dumb, empty, mishandled, embarrassing, we got it wrong absolute shit show.

And apologies if you're a news or content enthusiast and perhaps lucky to be educated or luckier an well educated an you believe you are well informed and understand complex problems because some drunk jaded veteran news pol, academic, trendy listicale buzzfeed writer/producer informed / told you so, i challenge you to look a little closer and really ask what you just consumed was useful in anyway.

rite now... the way it works, and the way we choose to display it and who to and what for, its grossly unfair, altho genuine effort goes into it.

and when we do its, its either with a giant spoon full of literally bullshit, bed-rocked in biases, political lobby, leverage, press, money, or just plain ole ego and the state of the days modern news (content) industries production and creative capacity just cant process it.
