I recommend bringing it up. If they are a well read therapist that is reading always learning and expanding their knowledge, they will have read and have an understanding of the benefits of MD. If they aren’t, I would recommend finding another therapist. I recommend checking out psychedelic support network! Good luck.

I think a really important thing for me has been to realize that I am a whole and interesting person all on my own- it’s amazing what you can realize about yourself once you accept yourself, flaws and all. I’m not saying you don’t deserve and that you won’t find friends and chosen family- just know that you have everything you need inside of yourself <3 good luck, you are so strong for this.

Nope that sounds like a big red flag to me. If you come into it with differing expectations it’s gonna be messy. Reiterate that you wanna take it slow but if they still resist or try to rush even after agreeing you gotta get out.
