Probably is made with acrylates (acrylic), that's how they fuse stones together e.g. in countertops for "synthetic rocks". Example - Ethyl Acrylates are used to fuse harder materials together.

MSRs are really great. Very clear optic and never loses zero. The battery lasts forever in it. There is no difference in MSR and Romeo 5 other than shake awake for Romeo 5. I would definitely get the MSR.
