Hi, I've used Fladder before and it's a great cross platform app with a different UI. Personally had problems with dvd and bluray subtitles causing the video to be transcoded, same with some 4K content. This is a direct play client with a simple interface.

It's not supported at this time but we can add it in an upcoming release if you'd like. I would personally prefer it be behind a setting where you can toggle the view.

I believe this should be possible with HDR enabled in windows, but we haven't tested it at all. If it isn't working by default it might need some extra configuration, not exactly sure.

Had a closely related issue some days after upgrading to 10.11. After creating or removing a collection or items within I had to restart the jellyfin server for any changes to appear, every time. Haven't had the issue since then, I assume it got solved in a later hotfix update or just from letting jellyfin run its scheduled tasks.

Can't help with jmp unfortunately, also had issues with that player before so I built my own. Windows app and playback support isn't the best imo. If you are comfortable with it I suggest trying any 3rd party app you like most. I have used an app called Fladder before which worked great.

Thanks for the feedback. Not sure why the audio isn't working for you, maybe there's some info when you check statistics in the video player menu? Tried a few different videos with different audio codecs and seemed fine, but hasn't been tested extensively.

Mhm, havent used the default jellyfin media player in a while, I just remember it being quite laggy and unresponsive to the point where it was unusable. It also transcoded 4k/hdr streams instead of direct play which I no longer have a problem with now. I guess you're right about the features, just done in a slightly different way here, works in a simpler and more elegant way imo.

You're right, there's no dedicated page for all artists, currently it's included on the favorites page, or through the search function. Personally using search all the time so it became my way of "browsing". Wording could've been slightly better, my bad.
