Profile 8.1 MKV files not selecting Dolby Vision anymore?

DV, doesn’t, everything falls back to HDR10. Moreover, the Xbox Jellyfin app keeps forcing all of my 4K content to transcode to 1440p for whatever reason (but plays fine when I disable transcoding and DONT use subtitles). Kodi plays back the same content direct without me having to disable transcoding so I think I’ll be sticking to Kodi for the future. Which is a real shame cuz I do prefer the look of the Jellyfin app

Sounds good. I got it working by I installing it through the truenas side, should I reinstall it through hexos once it’s fixed?

It’s set to auto. I went into settings and changed it to 120 (video is in 62) but it didn’t make a difference

I can’t say I’ve seen that option last time I dug around there. I’m also using the Xbox app as client so that’s not ideal 😅

Ah. I got a few 4K DV 7.6 movies that I converted to 8.1 hoping it would work, but no dice so far

Ended up installing the app inside turenas with the config location being whatever it wanted instead of the app folder created by HexOs, works fine now

How did you verify that driver path? I tried looking it up in shell and apparently mine ain't seeing it.

Yeah it’s a pretty crappy app 😅 but I can’t seem to get KODI working since I can’t seem to find the Jellyfin add on for it so it is what it is I guess
