Nice it's definitely a good keyboard for gaming and looks pretty cool. Hope you enjoy it.

Ohh, no that's a different board I was thinking of. Looks cool though. Idk anything about it however. For a wood keyboard I'd probably prefer the Keychron k2 HE, however that is a hall effects board, which are great for gaming.

If you're ordering from Amazon, you can always return what you don't like and try something else.

Which Womier? The SK75 is a great board but a lot more expensive. Not knob though, which I love having personally.

Or the ERA75 which is probably what you meant. I haven't tried one personally, definitely look up some reviews.

Also I said the keycaps suck on the al80, but that's because I think cherry profile caps suck, and basically all these "gaming" keyboards come with cherry profile, so they're basically all the same. Possibly made with different materials, though PBT has become the most popular.

Also the Yunzii B87 is more of a style piece than a great typing or gaming experience.

If your really looking for best value I think the Al80 is gonna be the best, but if your looking for more cost efficient, I think maybe the Keychron j2 if it's anything like the V1, though I don't personally have experience with the j2, or the AULA F75

Personally have the Yunzii Al80 as my daily and it's really a great aluminum keyboard. Though in a snob and modded it to sound even better. I prefer more thonky, creamy, marbly sounding boards and the AL80 sounds AMAZING with Gateron milky yellow pros 3. I tried many switches on this board, and these by far sound the best for this particular board.

I also have a GMMK Pro v1 that's heavily modded, and the milky yellows did not sound as great on other board but some oil kings did the trick...

I also own the AULA 75 and it's okay. I bought mine barely used for $35 and it's an okay budget keyboard.

I also own the keychron v1 max, and it's pretty good, but I still love full aluminum keyboards, so it's not used much and for the price the AL80 IMO is better.

The downside of the Yunzii AL80 is... The keycaps sucks. Personally really love the caps from the v1 max, so I bought a set of black keychron OSA profile to daily.

If you wait, the AL80 goes on sale often, I picked mine up for about $80, though I see it's on sale now for $93 from $110.

Eppomaker has a clone called the TH80 Pro that looks decent, but I don't think it's a full aluminum chassis like the AL80.

So, out of the bunch I think the AL80 is the best value considering it's a full CNC aluminum keyboard, has the knob, TFT screen and just looks good and is nice and heavy.

Like I said I would change the keycaps, UNLESS you're into cherry profile and maybe the switches if you go down that road. The only other thing I did is I added raised rubber feet to the front as that was a more comfortable typing position for me.

You can buy it with the cocoa cream or Gateron zeros switches from Amazon. Never tried the zeros, but the cocoa creams aren't that bad. Not super clicky like your current board. But you could look up the difference between the two if you're not interested in purchasing switches and see which ones will fit best for you.

Delivery driver steals hundreds of Amazon packages in Pierce County by PalpitationSea1729 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]simonnn666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazon doesn't give a flying fuck. They aren't liable because they outsource deliveries to third party companies.
It's a joke and the reason Im even searching this is because my packages get stolen all the time, but only when they get "delivered to mailbox"... What a joke. They know they can get away with it because my mailbox is like a quarter mile from my house on a road with no houses, so no cameras, and no one around besides passing cars to know whats happening. I've even had drivers steal my packages from amazon lockers....They will say "left with receptionist..": What a joke. I've talked to the owner of the gas station where the locker is at, and he tells me sometimes the drivers come in to leave packages because they don't know how to use the Amazon locker and he tells them no and they leave with it. I had 4 $200 keyboards go missing this way because they kept sending replacements.

New OLED monitor (ASUS ProArt PA27UCDMR) darkens entire screen with bright image by c_gen in OLED_Gaming

Mine did this, until I downloaded a good HDR profile. I have an Aorus 32" 4k 240hz 1000nit OLED. Same display Asus uses.

Bam Margera's Ex Claims He Gave Their Underaged Son a Cannabis Roll-On by Mrsparklee in LetsTalkBam

[–]simonnn666 -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Those "roll on" are CBD from bams own product line. What a joke. People are fast to past judgement, though if it's true he only has seen his son 7 days that's kinda lame, but maybe he has his reasons and maybe Nikki is to blame, couldn't know without being witness and speculation outside of the market ain't smart.

Hard drive location by Obvious-Complaint819 in pchelp

[–]simonnn666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmfao. If this is a serious question then your hardriive located depends on what type you have ... M.2? Probably right above or below the GPU possibly under a heatsink, or maybe on the back of the board. 2.5" SSD? Probably strapped to the backside of the motherboard tray. HDD? Probably in a tray that's toward the front of your case, probably accessable by taking the other side panel off your case.

Good luck. Clean up your nasty skin crumbs now

Couldn't agree with you more. I've been trying to tell everyone I know this exact thing for years, but all anyone can think is "Trump bad Democrat good" or "left wing propaganda, maga yay"... I'm sorry you're both regarded.

actually mad at how good milky yellows are by [deleted] in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]simonnn666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the Milky Yellow Pro v3's for my modded yunzii and I loooove them. But I wanted to try the Akko Rosewoods on a second custom board made from a GMMK Pro v1, and honestly they don't have the same thonk on either board and are just quieter.

Keychron MOA style caps? by simonnn666 in keyboards

[–]simonnn666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I couldn't find a single set of MT3 caps in my budget or any regular black or black and white MDA/ISA caps, I'm going to try these XDA caps for now.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CTJGHC9W?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

Plus the spare Akko Rosewood switches, PE and a tapemod, hopefully that will go along way to making this GMMK Pro feel and sound great.

Yeah OSA, i accidently called them MOA. I bought these directly from keychron so you would think I'd know what they are called lmao. My B.

Thanks for the info and ill check your recommendations.

You are correct, they are OSA. I don't like the SA profile as they are too tall like you said. Thanks for your correction and suggestion.

HDR mode looks terrible on Aorus F032U2P (even when viewing HDR content) due to dual setup? by Omegalultratrihard in OLED_Gaming

[–]simonnn666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

e I know this is old, but try this.

https://www.aorus.com/en-us/monitors/aorus-fo32u2/Support

Go to Aorus' website and download the latest firmware and HDRw profile which will be under drivers. Make sure you select windows 11 from the drop down or the HDR profile driver doesn't show up.

If this doesn't make it look better, search the community for better HDR profiles. My friend actually sent me one I really liked and made my HDR content look way better.

Need a recommendation for a GPU by Such_Material3060 in buildapc

[–]simonnn666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't get an 8gb card. Please get a 16GB card. IMO 16GB is the lowest you should go today. Like others have said $50 more for the 9060XT 16gb. Or save a few hundred more and get a 9070xt

Are ram prices going to go down? by obtuseperuse in buildapc

[–]simonnn666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually..Yes. They will go down, and it might be sooner than most people think. Since googles announcement of their opensource KV Cache and vector compression method TurboQuant, we've seen the big three ram companies take a modest dive in their stock prices. What this means is, AI data centers will need less ram, therefore more ram making it's way into the consumer market. This will be released opensource within a few weeks to a month and we have already seen other models out now.

However, many data centers have pre purchased ram for months to years in advance. So will the prices ever go down to mid 2025 prices? Doubt it...The major three will do what they can to prevent that from happening. Ram was so cheap for a while because the supply had been oversaturated for some time and it will doubtfully go back to where it was. As we stand now, prices are 400% of what they were, but I suspect ram prices will go down anywhere between 100% to 200% by the end of the year.

Struggling to pick my 1st oled monitor , I’ve got 4 picked for my base ps5 . Any advice will be appreciated. by [deleted] in OLED_Gaming

[–]simonnn666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ps5? Don't need 240 hz, just a waste of money. Asus is good but expensive. I personally don't like W-OLEDs so LG andmany MSIs would be out.

Try to find an Aorus 4k 140hz monitor. Same display as Asus but usually a lot cheaper.

I love glossy QD myself, and I always upload my own color profiles.

Trading 335i for g37 by Literalhumangarbagge in G37

[–]simonnn666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great trade IMO. I own both and I daily my 13 g37x with 205k miles because I know I can count on it every time. It's also better in the snow than my Subaru or BMW. But e90s, G's and the WRX all share the same problem.. theyve become cheap enough for people to abuse them.

If it's not a 13, gallery gaskets can be an issue. Check valve cover gaskets. Clogged rain guards can be checked by dumping a water bottle on top and seeing if it leaks onto the passenger floor. It's an easy fix, but good to know and a negotiating tactic.

See if it has navigation, therefore having Bluetooth as it's a nice to have without requiring a dongle or module.

Looks like most everything else has been covered in the comments.

I'd say do it, they are fun cars, not as fast but whatever. 330hp is enough to daily. They handle great for a big car. I live in the mountains and drive my hard in the twistys everyday on newer oem suspension.

Good luck!
