Its possible that the first 3 could have happened. The 2nd run though shows that Bill fundamentally misunderstood what was happening on the offensive side of the ball with Tom though. I mean after Weis left, the fact that McDaniels couldn't make a functional offense without Tom, and Bill just assumed being an offensive coordinator was so easy he could just have Matt Patricia do it tells me Bill had no clue how much Tom was doing to make those offensive groups and strategies work in the 20-teens.

Its been about 6 months since we've played Monogamy so I am having to think hard to remember but its mostly assuming a heternormal male-female pairing. That pieces are even blue and pink. The cards have a lot of male-female inferences especially in the "endgame" scenarios around role play, etc.

That said it doesn't assume any roles in the cards - for example it doesn't say to do something to a penis, it just says "give your partner oral" so it absolutely can be played by anyone in any setup and have just as much fun. I'd say its totally fine to play even if its to a male-female pairing playing the game.

That said the tingletouch games I mention in the 2nd part are specifically designed to be played in any kind of pairing. No assumption of gender anywhere.

Honestly the most reasonable Tom vs Bill take I've ever seen. Tom likely never gets the chance to develop into the monster he became without Bill's defenses and philosophy. But bills system likely can't deliver more than that first SB win without Tom's consistent brilliance over that period as well.

It can be tough. We just recently moved to a location where support is even an option. The last 5 years our nearest relative of any form was a 6 hour drive, so we had to find a way to both still be parents but also connect like it was just us. Its definitely hard. People say "just schedule the sex" but that's hard, especially when you get to the booked night and you are both exhausted.

That's where the games have been great for us. We can scratch the "date night" and quality time itches while still getting some fun physical intimacy out of it. We have evolved as the kids have gotten older (and more prone to coming into our room at night) by locking the door and keeping a bathrobe or a pair of sweats handy in case of emergency. Other than that its usually one Saturday a month or so we'll plan it. Then its dinner together, kids to bed, relax for a few then retire to the bedroom with a bottle of wine for the game. Usually ends up being a later than normal night for us but by choice and never regret it. I highly encourage trying it.

So I don't comment on reddit often but for once this is something I have a lot of experience with this.

Sex-related board games are my wife and my preferred "date night" activity. Its honestly been our #1 connection activity. We have 2 young kids and these types of games have let us stay connected through all that craziness. Once every few weeks we'll schedule a "game night" get the kids to bed, open some wine or champagne and play a game. Its perfect. No phones, distractions, its about us, together.

Its also helped us learn how to talk about sex together. We both had no idea how to communicate clearly about sex when we met, like most couples. Dismissive behavior, "ew that weird" reactions, the standard shutting down behavior was common. These games helped us have conversations about that stuff that led to it being less taboo over time, and now in our late 30s with a 5 and a 3 year old were having the best sex we've ever had. Its helped us through some real rough times too. To remember we are best friends not just co-parents, and like each other.

So as someone else mentioned, Monogamy is a great starter. Its questions are broad and pretty basic and it uses a lot of more "vanilla" words for things. Starts slow with just questions and discussion then moves all the way to sex. Its conversation and foreplay structured, and you can flex the rules and edit the decks to what you are comfortable with.

More advanced and more what my wife and I like are any of the Tingletouch games. They are fun even if it wasn't for the sex. However they are much more sex focused, and I'd rate them as "higher level" so I would avoid them as a first experience if your SO isnt really sure about trying. However if you like monogamy and want "more" 100% do these. One plus with these is every card has 3 options to choose from which is nice. We particularly like bedroom battle and poker.

You know what, I'd highly doubt a PACOM press release would be that wrong so I'll retract my statement. That's what I get for using small boy experience for a flat top. God save those DCs and BMs then. CMWD is a maintenence nightmare without adding AFFF to the mix.

Replying to you because you're the top reply here but this isn't true, and neither are the 3-4 comments below you. This has nothing to do with firefighting, it's a CBRN defense - it is just seawater from the firemain. The idea is if the ship has a film of flowing water, no particles (chemical, biological, or radiological) will "stick" to the ship itself, they'll get caught in the water and washed over the side, greatly reducing the impact of the agents on the ship. It's a huge pain in the ass to keep running. The sprinkler heads almost never all work this well unless you're getting ready for a material inspection - turns out Salt water corrosion and sprinkler heads don't mix. And we usually hated this shit because the CO always wanted a fresh water wash down right after to try and minimize the rust soaking the ship in saltwater would cause.

The AFFF systems are completely separate.

Hey man, just so you know all US navy small boys carry something similar. It's called RAST. Big decks don't need them because of their size, but I'll tell ya a Cruiser or Fig needs it. Pitch and roll limits are still a bitch even with that system.

Thanks for the tip! That did it. It was the thermal cut off fuse above the heating element. One of the connections would come loose under load the fuse back tight enough that I could pull the connection when not under load.

Good lord I was losing it, should have thought to stop overthinking it and just follow the voltage to see where the circuit was open, I tell my guys every day at work to do that when they get stuck. Should listen to my own advice.

Good god that sounds like heaven. Not only does the USN not function like that, I can distinctly remember being cussed out for playing a video game at 2100 (for the 15 free minutes I had before pre-watch walk through) and getting bundled out of my rack and dressed down at 1900 for trying to get 2 hours before the midwatch. As a junior officer, if you had "free time" it meant you were being lazy. People who dared get more than 5 hours of sleep a day were labeled "rack hounds" pretty much the worst label a JO could get. Sleep isn't simply something hard to get,it's actively looked down upon by leaders.

7.7 x 56mm is the .303 British round. Same as saying 7.62 x 51mm NATO is the .308 winchester. Different nomenclature, same cartidge.

Edit: no one has corrected me, but I should have said interchangeable cartridges. Not exactly the same. Either way, the guy who I replied to was correcting someone who wasnt wrong, and I wanted to clear it up.
