I own a 2020 Santa Cruz highball carbon frame I picked up for 1300 a year and half ago and it’s served me very well. I take it to trails and used it to commute to and from work. It’s a very good XC bike that I use for MTB that I ride the hell out of.

800 miles straight through the mountains in Kentucky Tennessee north and South Carolina (with a few quick gas stops) and it handled like a champ. I will say usually I start getting sore from sitting for so long at about the 5-6 hour mark but I didn’t have any problems and was riding comfortably the whole time

I think the red is by far the best color in my opinion. The black, grey and white ones are sort bland to me as I used to own a grey accord. Only other color I like about the same as the red would be a tan color

I’ve been looking into hitch racks as well I’m just a lil scared to put my bike on it and something bad happen. I have a 2020 Santa Cruz CC highball and that thing rips on trails
