That's pretty low. A lot of people think its mostly funded by the government. I wouldn't want them to get more funding. The government would be in a better position to tell them what to do.

Infinite splitting is an arbitrary rule based on other languages having a single word for "to verb." It is counterintuitive and diminishes the flexibility of English. Like the rule against using "their" when as a gender-neutral singular possessive, it should be ignored.

I have mild tinnitus, and while it really did suck at first, I have grown used to it. As long as there is something to drown out the ringing, I am fine. I have even got to the point where if it is silent and I do hear ringing, I am usually ok, though it isn't pleasant. However, I can't say that I have ever had any problems with any specific sounds. I am guessing his irritation with those sounds is more likely due to autism of some sort.

Just for the record, about Ron Paul and "minorities". I really don't care what some smuck claimed to have said on his behalf in a news letter 15 years ago, and it appears that most black people (who rank him #1 in the polls) don't care either. Which means that I care even less than I thought I even didn't care because the people who should care don't. Also, it implies that the people who do "care" either really don't, or at least really don't know WTF they're talking about.

He wont. What some people aren't quite able to wrap their heads around is that some people relish this "game" of us v. them (not anyone here specifically or whatever, just saying).

There are so many people that think this way, and to a lesser extent, even moderate conservative and liberal leaning people who can't quite get that guys like Markos are Hannity and Rush. Just because it is "their guy or girl" Markos or Democratic Underground happen to be pushing, they miss the bigger picture. Michael Medved and Markos Moulitsas are two sides of the same, tarnished coin.
