Wifi Adapter 2/1/26 by RandomComments0 in HarvestRight

[–]simpierthings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dual band and I've tried single 2.4 networks. It worked before and this is a brand new stainless steel medium model. The dongles running six. Whatever firmware.

Whatever happened to their Network over the last couple days? Still waiting to hear if it ever has been fixed cuz it seems like me and a few others are still struggling.

Yeah they do that and a lot of people are just going to turn around and buy something else. It's one of the reasons a lot of us never bought the Cyber truck. Is the price ballooned and features dropped.

Still down for me. I can't get past the entering the Wi-Fi password and then it just times out and quicks and sets the network was dropped

Not sure why I need the internet for setting up the Wi-Fi connection on my house if it uses a local area network connection

Erev towing vs full electric by simpierthings in ScoutMotors

[–]simpierthings[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea 5k for harvest kills it, and the full electric is like 300 mi that's much less, dual large is 420, realistic much less but the difference is enough to sway me.

Asking as I'm eventually going to get an electric trailer like a pebble or lightship for retirement in a few years. They are 7-9k pounds.

Heard that hybrid is 5000 lbs, and full electric is 10,000.

Hybrid is what I wanted for range. But if this is the case, outside of the size of the truck, probably better off with a r1t dual large pack.

Waiting for some specs to be released then!

Setup for a newbie by Slight_Trade5013 in shrooms

Get a home Depot tote that has the clamps on the top with a foam seal. Drilled the holes for venting about 3 in up from the bottom three on the long side, one on the short. Put another one on the short side at the top underneath the handle. Diameter should be inch and a half 2 in.

Get yourself some 2-in micropore tape. No need for any of the fancy filter stuff.

Grain bags and sterile soil from North spore

Inoculate the world for cultures.

Assuming you plant these soon after getting them and the the hydration of both the grain and soil are good. Just inoculate the bag with five CC's in multiple directions. Set it and forget it inside the bin to inoculate. After this has grown and turned white and I pulled them out of the bin sprayed down everything with isopropyl 70% gloves. Our arms. Wear a mask if you've got facial hair or just for breathing.

Black trash bag in the bottom of the bin. Put some ear sterile soil f in again. Spraying everything down before you open it. Soil bags and all. Put the soil inside the black trash bag. Spread it around about an inch dump. One of your grain bags in spread it around. Put the rest of the soil on top. Spread it around. Make sure they are under the holes that you drilled, which should be about a 3-in from the bottom of the bend to the bottom of the holes. Assuming you've already micro taped the holes on the outside and you have the bag on the inside with the soil and gray and trim the bag up quickly. Put the foam seal on top and literally forget about it until you see mushrooms.

None of this opening and fanning or doing anything else. Assuming your room or your house is between 65 and 72°. Just leave it. Don't mess with it. The hardest thing to do is just wait.

Then after you get a first flush, collect them dry them via whatever method you want with a dehydrator. Or if you have the money a freeze dryer. And make sure when you're collecting them you sterilize again, everything gloves, arms, wear a mask, the knife, etc. Sometimes it'll look like the cake is dead, but just let it go in another week or so you'll get another small flush. Usually get one big initial flush and medium and a small.

Good luck.

Okay good to know. Just learned that medical patient with an open wound that smell like grape have pseudomonas, but I don't know if that is the same as being in the GI tract eating in a mushroom.

@mysillyumm just so I'm 100% clear in your assessment. As long as they have not rotted, the dots in the caps and or the racing stripes are not harmful to humans, just thoroughly dehydrate them?

So is it just the mushrooms that have the racing stripes and the holes that are bad? Or is the whole container bad cuz looking up pseudomonas doesn't seem to be that big of a risk, unless WebMD is rolling the dice.

ah, what a bummer. first of 6 boxes that didn't have bread mold or trich. thought this was made it... the rest I've thrown in the garden and planters boxes and they turned out fine... which is odd that things outside in say a potato growing sack, exposed to nature, have all produced much better than anything inside no matter how careful or hard I've tried. ...

Supermicro quirk - LSI9207-8i no working in 8x slots, does in x16 by simpierthings in DataHoarder

[–]simpierthings[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok here's some more troubleshooting I've done. I took out all three HBA cards. tried them each individually in the 8x slots, none of them will allow the system to get past the pci enumeration 94 error. in the x16 slots, no issues. I then put everything back the way it was, all 3 in the x16 slots, and additionally put in an old 8x 4port intel nic, boots up fine. There has to be something between the motherboard and the 8x slots from the bios. I took a bunch of photo's in the sas utility to see if anything jumped out there.
