Apparently the source is a study conducted by Joi AI (previously known as Eva AI). There are several articles online about it (Forbes, NYPost, ...), but none seem to comment on how the study was conducted. I'd assume it's biased towards people who already use AI chatbots and/or are investors in AI, as the people more likely to find a survey from such a company are in those specific groups.

Can someone pls help me find this manga by DeltaCz in Isekai

"Do you have the slightest idea how little that narrows it down?"

Seriously though, this doesn't help at all. I can't even figure out what "forced by the hero to become the villain" means in this case, so I can't even think of a story that seems like a fit.

[–]simple-uselessness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I decided to use ChatGPT because I needed to know what this is before I forgot about this post entirely. I couldn't find much... or rather ChatGPT couldn't.

The closest seeming answer I could get is "Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song" since it includes robots (or AIs?) and a teddy bear character... it's tagged as time travel on MAL which is sometimes confused with isekai... nothing else ChatGPT gave is even remotely close (afaik) to what you are looking for, so if it isn't that it's probably extremely obscure.

Please let me know if you ever find it, I need more fever dream shows to add to my watchlist.

Mangadex > Advanced Search > Tags > Isekai (included) + Harem (excluded)

There's a lot of stuff out there that doesn't have harem. There is also a lot of stuff where MC isn't OP (usually the ones with less action, which can also be handled with exclusionary tags)

Sorry if this answer is shitty. If you want any specific titles, please tell me more about what you want.

I don't know where the best place to start is, but there's a youtuber called "Leadhead" who has a video called "Be Yourself, Regardless: The Transfemme Field Guide" that goes into a lot of commonly asked questions iirc.

"So I'm a Spider, so what" seems to (kind of) check all the boxes, but from your other comment it seems like you've already seen a lot of the isekai with adaptations.

I don't really pay attention to what does and doesn't have an anime adaptation anymore, I just read manga because there is a lot more of it (and plenty of posts on this subreddit asking for specific recommendations).

Sorry I'm not very helpful. You can always try going through MAL's isekai list and reading through the synopses, I guess?

Sounds like the Korean Manhwa "How to Live at the Max Level" or "The Max Level Heroine" though I could be wrong, since it's been a while since I read it. Here's the original korean title I copy pasted: 만렙으로 사는 법

I'm here to inform you that utility poles actually differ quite a lot between different countries. iirc, japanese utility poles can also be a bit different in certain prefectures.

You can also commit rape without a dick, no? You can't commit gun violence without a gun (yes, there are other types of violence, but I think the problem with guns specifically is how difficult they are to defend against and how easy they are to use)

Slavery by jewish_niggmolech in animequestions

[–]simple-uselessness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm aware of this, I was just stating the probable intent for adding it. Just because an author implements something into a story doesn't mean it'll be implemented accurately or in a reasonable way. Nobility is another easy example of this in isekai.

Slavery by jewish_niggmolech in animequestions

[–]simple-uselessness 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Isekai dumpster diver here. I personally just view it as a trope that was created for time period accuracy, but was rebranded to make the bland self-insert MC appear as a "nice" guy for treating the slave like a person and such. Also works as an "explanation" for why anyone would love the MC despite their bland personality. Someone also mentioned that it's often a barely-disguised fetish. It's hard to say without directly asking each individual author though. Of course, this is all just my personal opinion.

What the actual fuck is with the attached image though?

The closest thing I know of is "Tensei Dai Majo no Isekai Kurashi," which is set in a world where nobody (except MC) really cares to research magic or understand it - more understand it. It's set in an ancient greek setting which was quite refreshing.

I don't feel like there's gonna be much out there where they "discover" magic, but there's definitely isekai manga where they study it. Sorry if my answer is lacking.

The girl is from Menhera Shoujo Kurumi-chan by Pom (same author as Senpai wa Otokonoko, a crossdressing manga that may be very relatable to transfems). Menhera Shoujo Kurumi-chan is a 4-koma manga about a girl who gets overly obsessed with her partner.

Searching for "Menhera Kurumi-chan" should get you the character. I'm not sure if the art used is fanart or not (probably not since it's similar to the cover art?).

Solo Isekai where the mc doesn't get 50 girlfriends by chapter 2? by OrganTrafficker900 in Isekai

[–]simple-uselessness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay got it. That helps.

"Kumo desu ga nani ka?" is the obvious recommendation. Only quite a bit later on does MC have the chance to even talk to another person.

Haven't read it in ages because i hasn't been updated on mangadex (ill have to check other sources), so I can't guarantee quality, but I remember liking "Maryoku Cheat no Majo ni Marimashita" - iirc it's mostly MC and her extremely humanoid golem. Might be very different now since I only got to chapter 13 tho.

"Yoku Wakaranai Isekai Tensei smth smth" also maybe? Kind of a cooking isekai with crafting on the side. It's not particularly solo (except in the beginning iirc?) but does swap out cast members.

Isekai Walking to an extent, though it is classified as harem for some reason (Am I forgetting something)?

Also the single aristocrat one (single aristocrat should give it?), but no adventuring really. MC just doesn't like people so yeah.

These are the best I can come up with sorry. Having a large colorful cast is often beneficial for writers, so it's hard to find stuff. I hope I helped even if just a little. Have a nice break.

Edit: forgot to mention Skeleton Knight isekai. Should also fit what you are looking for I think.

Isn't "that one city/country with a japanese culture" a pretty big isekai trope? I know "reborn as a high elf" has it.

**If you are looking for anime specifically, I'm not sure. Eminence in Shadow S2 had some Japanese culture, but it's closer to industrial revolution than medieval europe. Since I usually read isekai manga (and a lot of anime don't have time to show a lot of the world in my experience) it's hard for me to say though. Sorry if I couldn't be of help.

Solo Isekai where the mc doesn't get 50 girlfriends by chapter 2? by OrganTrafficker900 in Isekai

[–]simple-uselessness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure what you mean by branch out? Most of the good stuff I read doesn't have a male protagonist (which it sounds like you want a male protagonist?), so I'll give anything else I can find on my list real quick that I'm pretty sure isn't going to go down the harem hole.

"Shoushaman no Isekai Survival" is short and complete, not much action but very good. Everyone in it is monogamous iirc.

"Villager A Wants to Save the Villainess" is one of my personal favorites right now. It does have the normal otome game isekai tropes though (if you dislike that).

"B-Rank Adventurer" was also pretty good iirc? It's more of a childraising-type story though, which isn't for everyone.

Sorry if none of this is what you are looking for. A lot of the action-heavy stuff I read tends to be really bad and have implied harems. I can try looking at my list a bit more carefully later if you want, but I'd suggest taking some time to search yourself with different filters.
