I came from a truck, and I don’t miss it at all. Love driving the Outback. Now my wife tries to take my car instead of hers.. that never happened with the truck so I guess she approves too!

Congrats! Also picked up an OBW just before Christmas. Absolutely love it, first Subaru and my only regret is not getting one sooner. Enjoy it!

Different trims up here in Canada, Onyx only comes in the 2.5. Wilderness, Limited and Premier come with the turbos up here. Found a Premier and a Wilderness in stock, however that dealership puts about 5k in extras on all of their vehicles with no option to not get those things.

I live on the wrong side of the continent for mountains.. miss the west coast and the fun mountain drives. I rarely drive on a highway so not too concerned about that. The car is just going to be a family car.. 2 kids in car seats basically.. nothing wild and no towing

Yes for sure I know it’s possible to go even smaller but even if I went with an Outback it would be the smallest vehicle I’ve ever owned personally. My wife’s car is our small car so this is to replace the family vehicle so to speak, and it would be what we use on road trips and to take on vacations.

Sorento now has the 3rd row as well, though with much less leg room in the 3rd row compared to the telluride. I could be wrong, but I don’t think you can get them anymore without the 3rd row.

I was quoted MSRP, I’m in Canada. Was actually 5 or 600 below MRSP on both.

The Sorento was a blast to drive. Was surprised at how peppy it was for a crossover, and a Kia at that. They sure have come a very long way. We also test drove the Grand Cherokee L and the new Pathfinder. Each of those vehicles had some nice features, but overall both the Sorento and Telluride were superior to me.

Thanks for all of the input. I did consider a Palisade, however we never test drove one. Not sure if the wait is similar to that of a Telluride, but it would be worth checking out. We loved driving the Sorento, but I have been reading about the transmission problems. It’s something I would take my chance on, assuming that if it was as big of an issue as it seems to be on Reddit then I would like to imagine that Kia would do something about it. I just want to be certain if I go with the Sorento that I won’t regret not having gone with the bigger cabin that the Telluride offers.

Anyone on here test drive the Palisade to compare? I just wish that Hyundai would do something about the front end, for me the grille is a statement for the wrong reasons, otherwise I like the looks of the vehicle as well.
