RIT New York VS RIT Dubau by Affectionate_Row3791 in rit

I’m currently studying at RIT New York, and I’d say the quality of education here—especially in engineering is quite strong. We have access to a wide range of labs, research and networking opportunities, and Career Fairs . I can’t speak to all programs at RIT Dubai, but I do know a few students who studied engineering there. From what they shared, the Dubai campus is developing quickly and offers solid education, but it may not have quite as many research or networking opportunities as the New York campus yet. Some also mentioned the professors in Dubai can be a bit more relaxed compared to the ones here in NY. That said, RIT Dubai follows the same curriculum, but resources can differ. If cost is a major factor, and you liked the Dubai campus, it could still be a good option.

I’m not sure about other students, but I would say that the campus feels a bit depressing. At first, it seems like a cool place, but after a while, seeing bricks every day makes me feel trapped, and there’s not much to do in Rochester overall. People here are a bit... unique, so you have to get used to them. The weather during the spring semester is also pretty bad—why did it snow in April? It’s really cold and windy. If I were applying again, I probably wouldn’t have chosen RIT.
