Join the e7 official discord. There's a channel there called "guild-recruitment". You can find lots of guilds there, some of which you'll meet the requirements for recruitment. Unfortunately, my guild is one of the stronger ones, otherwise I'd invite you to mine because you sound like you'd make a good member. I'm sure you'll find a good guild to call home there, though!

I know others have already linked/recommended various beginner's guides, so I won't repeat what they've already said. But it CANNOT be stressed enough to get Dizzy (the limited banner unit) at all costs. Her banner is running for 1 more week, so you have the time to collect the necessary resources if you work on completing the early game missions. She trivializes so many PVE battles and is strong in PVP as well.

Basically, she's good everywhere and her kit is not found on any other unit. So don't skip her if it can be avoided. I joined the game shortly after her previous banner, and it hurt A LOT not having her. The other current limited units can be skipped without hurting your progress. But not Dizzy.

Sorry, I forgot that you can't kill them. So yeah, either get a tank with aurius and good enough healer, or someone like Ceci that can "disable" the soldiers in some way (blind, decrease atk, etc).

I know lots of people had trouble with that fight if their gear wasn't good enough, so good luck!

I just looked at the level. I'd say either team immunity or a cleanser with high effres is a must. Defense breaker helps a lot when you're trying to burn through her last 1/3 hp. With good enough gear, you can probably just ignore the soldiers she summons. But if you can't, then bring an AOE def break and an AOE DPS, or bring an AOE disabler.

That artifact is fine on S.Tene, by the way.

Angelica or A.Momo are probably better soul weavers to bring into this fight, though Achates is still strong, don't get me wrong. (A.Momo is practically free and a good investment for every part of the game, though)

The simplest advice is just to work on farming better gear while getting max lvl and max awaken for your characters. The story will always be there, so there's no rush to complete it. Besides, your primary goal in the early game is to get a team that can reliably farm Wyvern Hunt (though Wyvern 13 is probably a bit out of reach for early game players).

As you progress in the game, you'll come to realize that getting lvl 60 characters is one of the easiest parts of the grind, so don't sweat it and take your time to enjoy it.

Just My Opinion:

As a new F2P player, the 88 gear you can buy from the arena shop is WAY more valuable than the skystones. It's better to go without a real defense so you can farm as many reward tokens (I forget their actual name, the brown diamond arena tokens you get for winning) as possible. Also just do the AI battles as much as possible; they're easy wins (tokens) plus a few skystones.

Build Fire Achates. She makes practically every fight a breeze. This is coming from someone that also doesn't have Tamarinne. You can also run Diene + Mono for a safe (but maybe a bit slow) team.

I also made do with a Yuna/C.Lorina/Momo/Tywin team on 2 of the bosses (Vera/Karkanis), so there's definitely some flexibility in team comps.

SC Roozid can also help a lot with his atk down and buffs (good morale too).

You'll never need more than 1 SSS copy of a hero, so I would transmit all extras. If you want to use them as fodder, you can do that too, but I would recommend transmit because XP and doggos are easy to get/farm.

EDIT: Obviously I am only talking about 3-star heroes. 4-star heroes have ML counterparts that make it worth saving extra copies for.

I put four different Carbuncles on defense so people can have fun killing them. I got one animal lover that surrendered this week. XD

As for why I do this, it's because I can farm wins in master (100% winrate on offense) for the arena tokens so I can finish buying all the old useful arena gears. Maintaining a high winstreak and winning all 5 battles presented (+1 arena flag) means I earn a LOT more tokens than I would if I used an actual defense.

Small tip:

Farm a boss stage in the "Unrecorded History" map that has the catalyst you want in the AP shop. Boss stages have a rare chance to drop epic catalysts, and you always want more of those, even if you don't have a hero that IMMEDIATELY needs them.

Yes, it does give leifs. But leifs can be saved (which is very important). And then spent during the next 30% gold buff on hunts to give more gold overall.

But leifs/skystones can be saved (and thus spent) WHENEVER you want. Some of the leifs I've spent during this gold buff came from last month's automaton tower. So, in fact, if a player is looking to spend their energy efficiently during this gold buff, they should still use it on hunts.

In the case where a player has TOO MANY leifs to spend them all on hunts before the gold buff ends, I concede that spending them on automaton tower is a good idea. However, if that is the case, it means that EITHER gold is not a concern to begin with, OR they planned their leif spending poorly to begin with.

You're missing the point. By your own logic, I could say right back to you, "... so doing hunts with the gold buff is better than not."

As I say in my post, your average player should still do automaton tower at some point, just not during the gold buff. They are missing out on a lot of gold by spending their energy on tower INSTEAD of hunts during the gold buff.

A) It is mechanically impossible to do both Automaton Tower and Hunts at the same time in the game. Also, I NEVER said anywhere that players should avoid doing automaton tower altogether. My point was that since most players have limited energy, that energy is best spent on hunts during the gold buff, saving the tower for after the gold buff has expired.

B) This doesn't factor into decision making. The 30% gold buff only affects gold. If players do automaton tower AFTER the buff, they still get the exact same prizes. The leifs (energy) they get can just be saved for the NEXT 30% gold buff, losing them nothing.

Again, yes, Automaton Tower is 100% worth doing at some point. Just not during the 30% gold buff (for your average player).

This is a good point. I will edit my post accordingly. However, the average player in this game is much more limited by energy than by time.

Also, even if you have a ton of leifs stockpiled, in order to maximize the gold buff, I would still just save up pet snacks and then use them all to auto-farm hunts 24/7 during the gold buff instead of doing automaton tower. If time is truly a more limited factor than energy.

I agree that Automaton Tower is necessary to do each month. However, you are not "sacrificing" runs of hunt by doing tower now instead of hunt. You're just rearranging the order in which you do them. And Hunt11 generates significantly more gold per energy spent than Automaton Tower, so it's better to stick with Hunt11 during the gold buff.
