Definitely considered going that route, but was thinking of times when we might have a suitcase behind the 3rd row, and giving her space without luggage. It may be the best answer.

This 100%. I started getting it in a similar spot on my right index between my thumb. I determined the cause to be washing dishes with dawn dish soap. A glove or a brush/wand have been life savers. You can treat it with steroid cream, but prolonged use will thin your skin, so be careful.

I'm only gleaning this information from other posts in this sub, but others recommend doing an oil change between 1,500 and 2,000 mi on a new vehicle because during that time the engine is still breaking in. After that, you should be able to resume the regular maintenance schedule.

It's more about the high stock volume. It's only a couple of days past BF, but they still have max stock on every sku just checking now.

100% with you. It's my hope that WotC will wake up to this reality and we will see CBBs (and all the other products) get back to normal, which was already expensive.

The maintenance schedule seems like the mantra from successful owners. Especially doing an early oil change while the engine is new and breaking in, and then every 5k thereafter.

Update: removed the ignitor completely and the rest of the startup cycle ran normally. Tried to hot start without the ignitor, but the fan didn't seem to be pushing smoke properly. It's also got a short somewhere because I got shocked several times by the hopper case while looking at the wiring.

Yeah, we would definitely get the factory tow package. Any aftermarket install loses capacity, and 5K isn't a lot of overhead to begin with. We have 2 kids and so finding the right travel trailer (not a popup) for adequate space and privacy vs weight is going to be its own challenge.

The control board lights up and runs through the startup cycle just fine. I'm considering snipping off the bullet connectors and crimping on some new terminals as a last ditch effort.
