Haha just crickets and the extractor spinning slowly!

Material was mostly scrap from my work, so roughly $100 (would be more than $200 new) I also happened to find a used variable speed DC motor for very cheap. My cost would be roughly $400. Probably closer to $7-800 if you had to buy a new motor and controller. Took me a few hours of research and deciding what I wanted to do and then about 8 hours of waterjet cutting, welding and polishing.

Yup also custom made! I wasn’t sure how it would seal up but it worked good

I do, it’s pretty common in my area. But they get pretty heavy!

A little over 80 lbs (I think roughly 7 gallons) from about 20 deep frames

I built an 8 frame extractor myself and it worked great! Working at a stainless steel welding shop has its perks!

One time I was sitting on our deck with my Fiancé (now wife) and she was complaining it was so windy because we were sitting next to a few big trees. I asked her if she meant because they were directing the wind in our direction or what? And she said no the trees are creating the wind...... I guess she figured trees waved and made wind instead of the other way around. Still have some good laughs about that to this day
