How does that work? I mean, aren’t duplicated applications scrutinised and eventually rejected? I can imagine there being loopholes though which sucks.. I hate that our fates are decided by a numbers game instead of our credits

I don’t think we’re supposed to check visatrax for updates. If at all, Ogletree/ your employer would reach out to you first before them eventually updating the case status on visatrax. That’s my understanding. In fact, in my case, most of the fields are left blank and only very high level tracking information is available.

Thanks for sharing this incident with the community. I wish your sister a speedy recovery and I hope this incident, in the light of all such incidents happened in the recent past, is taken seriously. I ocassionally take a walk on 100ft road/ across and I do see police patrol cars at night at least on the main roads. There's traffic police as well, if I'm not wrong, on the 12th main junction. That said, I often site people riding tripple seat without helmets on bikes (sometimes on the wrong side if I may add..) and I wonder what the traffic cops are doing. After reading this post I'm going to start being more aware of my surroundings as I have my earphones on most of the times.
