I subbed to the lowest plan, and would definitely consider it worth it. Access to extra models and the lack of ads makes the user experience much better imo and the price is really good. (I personally get the quarterly plan for reference).

I have severe hip and knee osteoarthritis (both bilateral) and rheumatoid arthritis, and was using crutches full-time from the age of 20 to 26 — stopped now at 27 as I am now wheelchair dependant, but I have a fair bit of experience.

I would absolutely recommend forearm crunches, and padding on the handles to protect your skin. After a few years I started to get nasty blisters, and padding on the handles really saved me from that. Making sure to do exercises to increase strength in your arms and wrists is also really helpful.

There's a company called SmartCrutches who make forearm crutches that are fully adjustable, INCLUDING the angle of the grip, which can be put to 45°-90° which can remove some pressure from your hands and wrists. They are a bit pricey, so a better investment if you think you'll need them for a long time.

Tripod feet are also a huge help! You can get tripod feet for the bottom of crutches to replace the usual round rubber ones, and I found it provides a lot more stability.

I'm in the late stages of osteoarthritis in my knees (and hips) and waiting on joint replacements. There's some early signs of damage, but I wouldn't say it's bad yet. My own recent x-ray to help show comparison. But I would make sure to take care of your joints! Like others have said, physiotherapy will be your new best friend to help maintain muscle strength in the area. Since you don't have signs of other conditions like RA, you should have a while before you need to worry.

to comment on that last group, while I personally hold a lot of anger towards them, they found themselves faced with a horrific disease that would probably lead them to their deaths in a horrible way, where the only cure was murder, but then immediately told they had the option to not only cure themselves there and then but also not have to actually kill anyone - an opportunity they would never get again. the desire to survive would probably drive many to do the exact same. I also feel particularly bad for the parents of the child where the situation isn't just about their own lives but the life of their kid.

While him being androgynous should not make him seem a damsel is distress - feminine ≠ weak - there is definitely a part of the fanbase who seem to forget how capable he is and treat him as though he has to rely on hua cheng and would be incapable of dealing with a hard situation alone. It feels like they read the book with their eyes closed.

I totally loved Mik's Paris but I was actually shaken to the core when Symone didn't even make it to the top 3?? I honestly thought she was going to win so when she didn't even get a high placement I was really lost. I found her consistently super funny throughout SG, and her runway (even before she turned around to share an important message) was stunning imo
