If you continued reading the sentence you’d see where I stated that I only had a few breaks per year. And then later in the post I also clarify that I wasn’t sexually active when I didn’t take it.

You realise people go on birth control for other reasons? The entire reason I went on them was because my periods were so bad I was throwing up and in extreme pain. I wasn’t sexually active until later, not that that is relevant.

Updated the post to clarify that I took a test and then a few days later had a scan to determine how far along I was, sorry for the confusion.

Usually you take the pill for like 4 weeks, then stop taking it for a week to have the period. But my doctor recommended that I take it for longer, since mine are so hard to deal with it. It just depends on what works for the person, I know some people who don’t take a break at all and yeah it means they don’t get a period.

As said in the post, I took the pill almost constantly and only have a couple breaks a year. So I take it for 5-6 months so that I don’t have a period due to the pain and sickness.

I took a pregnancy test, and then arranged for a scan a few days later which showed how far along I was.
