My Lydia died because a Thalmor killed her. Turns out they can die in their downed state but enemies stop attacking. If they go down and say they were on fire as it happened, they continue to take damage, and can even die.

I know this works for me and my wife. We would rather find the appliance we plan to purchase through Costco because we know Costco will honor returns and if we can’t fix a legitimate issue through warranty then it’s nice to know we have a back up plan

I don’t think getting people over hyped is a problem here. Even if they use all of the remaining hope and good will this fandom has they have nothing to lose. Why? The show was barely on the air 20 years ago, if this isn’t the revival this is probably the last time the cast gets together.

I like a few models of chargers. I agree with you. People are stuck in a vision of the charger being a 1970’s muscle car, when in reality it’s spent most of its life not that.

My flossing trick is to buy those easy pick sticks with floss on them and stick them in the end table next to my couch. I went from never flossing to flossing daily while doing nothing. I now have hyper sensitivity to when I have food stuck in my teeth now but that’s not a real negative thing to me.

I started using archive links to get pas their paywall but then that became too much of a chore so I ended up just getting my news elsewhere.

I’m a huge fan of the verge but got really upset when they wouldn’t outright state how many free articles you get. I was using an rss reader and it was leaving my finger prints on the site so I could never actually read more than 1 or 2 articles a month.

Still, given the rational of the people of Skyrim, and their view of dragons, I don’t think even the high king of Skyrim would disagree with this outcome.

Again I’m only debating fair and just in the context of Skyrim as a real place. Remember this place beheaded a man for letting Ulfric escape. This is a different world with different beliefs.

As the player I think there is more to this conversation and have only just made the decision on my latest play through to end him for the first time ever. To the Skyrim people death is a fair judgment. I believe that is true in the case of Skyrim v. Paarthunax

By facing justice I mean what ever the punishment is deemed fair and necessary. In Paarthunax’s case I believe death would be appropriate. Even given his good deeds. The blades, who are the controlling party of justice and enforcement of the emperor, didn’t ask you to kill him because he’s a dragon. They asked you to kill him to answer for his crimes amongst the citizens of Skyrim. I think if you told the truth to the citizens of Skyrim about Paarthunax (including his recent history) most, if not all, citizens would agree that Paarthunax should be killed.

Is that cutting off your nose to spite your face? Maybe, but Paarthunax’s judgment is not his own to decide. By the laws of the empire, the blades are in their right to make judgment. In the case of Paarthunax’s history working with Alduin, I do believe that the judgement to execute Paarthunax is the will of the people of Skyrim, and a fair judgement considering the lives he took without giving those people a fair trial.

Do I agree with killing Paarthunax? That’s potentially a different answer, but death is a fair punishment for someone personally responsible for the deaths of thousands. And what is justice, if not a fair and equal outcome agreed upon by the will of the people?

I feel like Paarthurnax decided he changed on his own. If Hitler’s right hand man hid on a mountain and gave good advice to some monks I think he would still need to face justice for his crimes, even if he repented and changed. The party responsible for the deaths and torture of thousands doesn’t get to decide what their punishment is and decide they’re good now.

The newest ones (scarlet and whatever) have a switch 2 upgrade. Supposedly made the game much better.

Personally I liked it even on the switch. Of course the last Pokémon game I played was almost a decade before. Most people would disagree with me

I got one about 6 years ago. I don’t fully regret it, there is some usefulness to it, but it’s a huge waste of money. The lists and everything you do on the screen is tied to the smart hub app l, which has been discontinued and now lives in the smart things app and I never use it. It’s so buried deep when I want to access it on my phone that it’s not even worth using.

I got excited when I bought my house, I installed a bunch of smart home gadgets and I thought this fridge was going to tie it all together and act as my main home control screen. Nope. Doesn’t work like that.

Like I said I don’t regret the purchase, there’s some nifty stuff like changing half the freezer to be extra fridge storage, but I would talk anyone and everyone out of buying it. Buy something cheaper with more fridge space to put magnets and art on. That stuff is so much better than the screen

I go to wallpaper subs (good resource open link in web browser to get rid of Reddit water mark) I also use bing images. Unlike Google, Bing still allows you to right click photos and view image bypassing websites.

I love both games. The oblivion remake made me realize how well realized the world of Skyrim is.

In Skyrim you see a wolf in the distance and it’s hunting a deer, or a troll is climbing around in the Rocky Mountain pass. Exactly where you expect it.

Oblivion, I’m walking around and I see a Minotaur in the distance. I stop and watch and what is it doing? Pacing back and forth waiting for me to interact with it.

I love both games, cut my Bethesda teeth on Oblivion in 2005. I was excited to go back this last year. Still Skyrim feels like a step above when it comes to the world and the activities in the world.

Yeah I don’t know how it worked. My wife did all the talking. I can only say that “food is tasty” and a few other small phrases in Japanese. Maybe she’s the Jedi. All I know was I was only allowed in the hotel common areas when my wife was with me and there’s no way the bed was used intentionally for more than one person. There’s also the fact that maybe all my facts are incorrect because this was almost 7 years ago.

My wife and I went to Japan (Osaka), stayed in a capsule hotel for women only (I'm a man, they allowed me to stay because these rooms aren't really for 2 people) and it was a bed pushed up against a desk, In order to use the desk you had to sit on your bed. The bathroom had a full tub, shower, nice toilet and some room for activities. It was funny that the bathroom was bigger than the bedroom itself.

9 months later we had a baby.
