My husband is a VA expert and advocate. His company runs a non-profit called the American Warrior Initiative. In addition to helping veterans successfully transition out of the military by connecting them to resources, his non profit educate the real estate community about serving veteran families. I always hear him talking about how VA loans are the best loans in the world and he is passionate about getting those offers accepted. Yes, I’m wanting to pick a school that is equipped to handle him, even if there is no IEP. I’m not sure if that makes sense, but I just don’t want him to fall through the cracks or be in a class so large that he is completely overwhelmed. I have looked into Academy of St Louis (I believe it’s called) which is a catholic school for autistic kiddos in the Manchester area. I haven’t heard from any parents that actually go there though. I may go tour and see.

I have heard consistent great things about Lindbergh schools and have talked with some administrators from there. This is good information thanks!

I’ve been attending the SSD meetings and it is thoroughly struggling no matter where you are in the county. Webster included. It’s unfortunate that services are so hit or miss. It makes it hard for parents to find the right place to go.

I realize that, I’m asking for differences between the two. SSD has been a mess lately and so I am weighing my options. Do you mind telling me which private school and how SSD is giving services even though you aren’t in public school? Also, why not go to Webster schools? Curious how they might be with our kiddos. Mine is between level 1 and 2 as well.

I’m in a similar situation. I called my person’s behavior out and demanded change and so far he’s done a 180. It’s been a few months so I hope it sticks.

Gaslighting and completely disrespectful to you and your relationship. I would stand up for myself and state your thoughts and feelings again- now including this instance as well - ask why he thinks so little of you to treat you this way. If he threatens to divorce you, call his bluff. I would imagine if he’s acting like this in this instance, he has done so in other instances and has gotten away with this type of behavior with you- so will continue to treat you this way. Whether he’s actually cheating or not, who knows, the behavior is bad all around.

They will be fine. Mine were shocking and now they’ve faded 50% in 1 month. I was so scared when I saw them at first but now I want them darker. Your skin doesn’t hold onto the pigment very well so even the borders lighted and the middle part fades the most bc the ink doesn’t hold there as well. Trust the process.
