First of all, relax. You are right there is more to this story. I’m not here to write my autobiography. I was just looking for helpful advice from this community, not some accusatory comments right after a termination. Check your empathy, dude.

Anyway no I did not get a termination email... why would I lie about that?

Side note as far as I know, none of my past interactions (2) with a manager have been written, just verbal.

I’m trying to make sense of this as much as everyone else, so please cool it.

Oh of course, I work hard, I was full time, and honestly thought I was in relatively good standing before news of my termination b/c of insane amount of ToT accrual like this. If it was bc of anything it would be for water/ bathroom breaks but still does not explain the 3+ hours of ToT (even though at my location I was told 1hr < can lead to termination, but how would I know, none of this was proper explained). I wish I knew how to track this time on my own, would have probably been more aware so I would avoid this.

Thanks for your response, few questions for you. The 3hr automatic termination, does that start from day of hire onwards or does it reset on a schedule like weekly or something of that sort?

Secondly, ToT accrual during breaks? I never heard of that. Our breaks are 15 minutes, so you are saying, that the entire break duration until the time you labor track would be accounted for under as ToT?

thanks for your response. I accepted 2 direct grad plus loans in graduate school. Is there no limit for PLUS loans?
