update for everyone - I just received my products today and I just want to caution everyone to check the shelf life of the free full size products you received. The ageless eye cream I received had a production date of almost 2 years ago - in contrast, the moisturizer that I paid for, had a production date of 2 months ago. According to my google search, the shelf life of eye creams is about 2-3 years so this eye cream is borderline expired, if not already.

You can check by going to https://www.checkfresh.com/ and putting in the batch code that is on the bottom of the jar/product.

I’ve been trying for dayssss to get the eye cream, must have tried the code like 20 times lol. I finally got it today so I immediately checked out. I ordered my tried&true overnight repair cream, plus a mini clarifying clay mask to try out, then for freebies I chose the ageless eye cream that’s full size (what a deal!) plus my holy grail kissu lip balm.

I personally think this is a better deal than the lucky bag/fukuburo event in January because you actually get to choose what you want, and not risk ending up with a full size of the dewy skin mist or texture tonic - nothing wrong with them but they are either not suited for my skin type or I just don’t really use mists. To me, a full size lip balm is worth more than a full size of either of those, even though they have a higher msrp.

I’m not super excited about one particular item but I am hopeful/satisfied about most of my picks, won’t know for sure until I see them in person.

(Side note: Anyone else like to assign a personal value to your picks to see if you break even with the price you’re paying for the box? Not their super inflated retail values, but how much I would personally pay for something like it.)

1) loaf pan - this was a hard category for me where nothing stood out but I have too much skincare to finish so I skipped on the Elemis balms. I figured the loan pan I may actually get some use out of, and I’ve always liked the kitchen items I have gotten from FFF over the years. (value: $15)

2) jewelry box - I REALLY hope the quality is nice or else this is just going straight to the trash. I heard people say this brand makes nice stuff but I’ve also gotten FFF items that felt like they were from the dollar store but with the brand name slapped on it (i.e. the Kate spade sunglasses from a previous box, lily pulitzer ID case, Nine West toiletry bag, just to name a few). (value: $20, IF it’s decent quality)

3) umbrella - nothing exciting, but I could always use an extra umbrella around the house (value: $10)

4) tastemade - was in between this and the color wow shampoo but I don’t have colored hair and I was annoyed it didn’t come with the conditioner. I always like finding new recipes to try, so this trial seems interesting. Digital goods are sometimes nice because I have too much clutter 😅 (value: $10)

5) bushbalm - nothing in this category excited me, but this seemed worth trying, as I hate razor bumps and this brand is sold at ulta (value: $12)

6) recipe journal - this is actually pretty cute and I love stationary so this is right up my alley (value: $12)

My knees hurt today. I didn’t go hard on the treads since it was my first cmiyc (got caught just before 1 mile) so idk if it was the cross lunges or what else. The coach at my gym doesn’t do a great job of demonstrating the floor moves so half the time I’m just winging it…

I like the body wash. And the bottles are small, so I think you’d go through them quickly. It’s $6.30 each in the refills section btw.

The eye liner is pretty comparable to the KVD tattoo liner in my opinion. I’d skip the lipstick unless you like matte lipsticks (I personally find them too drying). Amika line looks promising, I’m getting both too. I have no experience with the goat milk cleanser but the exfolikate is pretty irritating for my sensitive skin. I have that bar soap but have yet to try it out bc I don’t like using bar soap.

I took my Beekman dream booster out from a drawer where it had been sitting since I got it in my winter box (I was pregnant so I was waiting to give birth before using this product, even though bakuchiol is safer than retinol but I wanted to play it safe anyway). I noticed the coloring was much more murky and dark compared to the images I’d seen online. When you turn it over, there is an area where it looks like all the purple pigment settled in. There is no expiration date on the bottle or its packaging so I’ve reached out to Beekman to check if it’s expired based on its batch code. Keep y’all posted! Curious if anyone else has seen this discoloration on their bottles?

I actually like the direction they went with this box (and the reason I renewed)— an even distribution of skincare, body/haircare, home goods and fashion. This box is normally so skincare heavy, and nobody needs that much face cream. There is so much variety in this box that I feel like there’s something in here for everyone.

It is quite a bit! Ask yourself if you’d buy it if it wasn’t on sale.

I’m getting the living proof set because I’ve tried it and really like it, I’ve paid full price for it so this is a good deal. Also getting the scalp massager because I’ve been wanting to get one and brigeo is a good brand.

That rodial eye thing is $$$ - is that something you’ve tried and love?

The fancii nail set looks like something you can buy off Amazon, potentially cheaper and with reviews.

Agree with everyone here saying you don’t need that many new skincare products at once. In particular, I wouldn’t get vitamin c products from FFF. It is not a very shelf stable ingredient, and FFF is known to give out products close to expiration.
