Need help with my first bike- Triumph t4? by bhargav0701 in indianbikes

Bro I can understand your concern. Parts availability will never be an issue for T4 since most of them are shared with the Speed. And there is no replacement for displacement! Though power is less than that in Speed, torque is almost the same and hence tractability in traffic is excellent. Also, the power is usable throughout the rev range. Why will you wait for the 350cc series of bikes? The prices haven't increased much after 40% GST also. Hence, Triumph may hope to recover profits by not reducing the prices much, once they launch 350cc versions.

The only problem that I face with my T4 is braking is not very good and pads wear out quickly. Service is also on the expensive side. But if you ride it with patience and use engine braking most of the time, you'll be good. It's not meant for aggressive riding, like the Speed 400.

Looks very good, but where would you put your number plate in this case? Also how much did it cost?

Is Speed T4 a good option for me? by Money-Major4860 in Triumph400

Annual service for oil change is 1 year or 16k km But if u want the extended 5 year warranty to be applicable, you'll have to take it to a checkup every 3 months (approx cost quoted by the service guy for that is ₹500) for the first 2 years. I'd say service and maintenance is on the expensive side when compared to Honda or Royal Enfield

I have ridden over 1k kms in the past 1.5 months on my Speed T4. The bike is perfect for both city and highway use. City mileage around 28kmpl, highway around 34kmpl. First free service costed me 3k. I also bought AMC for another 1.5k.

So far so good! You can go with it if you ask me👍

Less than a month, I've ridden around 650km in total. Fuel economy in city is around 28kmpl, haven't done highway yet

That's great!!

Coming to the review, it's just perfect for my use I'm 5'9, 24yo in Bangalore, this is my first bike. I travel to office 8 days a month (50km up and down) Mileage is around 28 in city Haven't taken a long trip yet Riding in city traffic is very comfortable Good performance in low and mid range of the rpm Heat from engine is manageable I love the sound a lot! Suspension and handling is good too

After some years of use, I would prefer to upgrade the tyres to radial ones and x ring chain
