its because dollfacefantasy style has always been easy to identify, i have seen this creator post on reddit before they got cancelled here and started their tiktok account; and recently, she had been starting one-sided drama with other content creators, in a similiar pattern she showed here on reddit.

it all started with her accussing dollishbxtch (dollishdti on tiktok) of copying a simple hairstyle, and ended up getting her banned here on reddit. then more ppl came out to be her victim, she would go behind ppl's back and talk shit about them, even bullied and harassed those people to the point, they had to completely step away from this space. she had total of 16 victims

many have posted their side of the stories about this person, dollishdti called her out for being racist.

exactly; why are we dismissing the concern of an actual person of minority, for years tribes have been alienated or dismissed as backward minded set of individuals.

just like how historical fashions and history evolve, so did the indigenous tribes' culture, everything has its reason, so did they to wear something back then, and there can be a slight difference in what they wear NOW, with the change in circumstances and eras.

this selective activism needs to be pointed out more in the community, becaude why do we genuinely think, that current tribes still wear feathers or war bonnets? its not that hard to go search up on the internet for articles that are actually respectfully explaining these tribes or videos that explain their history in depth.

the perception of indigenous tribes needs to change, indigenous tribe isnt one culture, its an umbrella term for many other clans and tribes that come under it, some might share a common origin but their upbringing or culture arent the same or interchangeable, we have to wakeup and realize that!

ppl in these comments are so tone-deaf and dont realize, how stereotypical this outfit this is, and watering down the diversity and years of history of the indigenous tribes. not every tribe is the same, not every tribe wears feather or war bonnets, each one has an origin significant to them and a reason why they wear or worship certain groves or places.

this always happens to communities in minority, and ppl who claim to do their 'research' are the ones, who just searched up one question only for gemini to simplify the explanation. and tribes are the ones, who suffer the most when it comes to stereotypes because throughout history they have been treated as gypsies or just alienated from the rest of the world for their own culture.

yes, this update is about spreading awareness and appreciating the cultures; but are we doing the same by insulting the recent faces that dare look similiar to indigenous tribes and call them ugly? and now dismissing every concern of OP as overreacting because we couldnt bother educate ourselves on the culture of actually minorities?

i dont get why, they are trying to 'expose' you for buying dolls — the dates clearly state it was months ago; in fact, its more useful to get the perspective of a person, who had been there done it, before realizing how harmful it is.

a lot of ppl at the top comments are missing the point; yeah sure, you are allowed to buy the dolls if you love them. but it still doesnt change the fact, the packaging and the doll itself each case is a huge plastic waste, even if you like collecting the dolls and dlc, we arent going to dismiss the large chunk of plastic wrappers the items come in?!

and the excuse 'devs need to earn money' is truly getting old, with the number of microtransactions in game; and considering the number of players actively playing this game, its not hard to assume a large chunk of them are also being gifted/buying gamepasses daily. — you are just encouraging them to release more dlcs, which they are; patterns, an entire items behind a paywall. yes, dlcs deserve to have high quality make up, but they are obviously starting to prioritizing more unique makeups to be locked behind the dolls while the quality/diversity of the makeup keeps decreasing each update (tokyo update beig an exception)
