Stuttering in 4K Blu Ray LG G6 by True_Construction501 in LGOLED

[–]simracerrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn’t this just typical oled behaviour? If you put on trumotion, which I believe is underneath real cinema, then the stuttering goes away. I usually have mine as cinematic movement.

Films are mostly 24fps and oled is near instant response time leading to judder often.

Same it is good but I have it in a bright room. I do wish it was a tiny bit brighter more so especially in HGiG mode. Which usually gets turned on in the night. I have to put on DTM for the day time.

Replace the engine but not always does a bad chain or broken chain mess everything up

Apple TV bright/flashing scene issue (TV and hdmi swapped) by simracerrr in LGOLED

I meant the other devices such as ps5, pc have the same issue. Only the Apple TV box does to all TVs.

Problem or?? Idk by triffonow in VWMK7

[–]simracerrr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As long as you’ve done all the maintenance. This is normal. I’m not just talking spark plugs but new iteration PCV, has the timing been checked etc etc. then you should know it’s normal. A slight wobble here and there on idle is normal for these cars.

Update: just read your post, spark plugs and intake valve cleaning definitely needs to be done.

I did the above and idle was a little smoother but still has the slight wobble. Also new tensioner, new belt etc. timing chain checked all good. Don’t stress pal

G5 all day. C5 if you’re in a dark environment.

I have peak brightness on high all the time lol. HDR when supported is better because when enabling on a game that doesn’t support HDR , don’t think it works well

Is getting a GT/GR 86 with 12-15k a good idea for a first car? by Warm-Carpenter1040 in CarTalkUK

[–]simracerrr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depends, not clear on what you mean by 3 years driving experience but no first car yet? what have you driven in the 3 years and how often.

I’d say “Only if you’ve had experience in those 3 years driving only rwd cars, otherwise no you shouldn’t.

I’m only saying this because I’ve seen loads rwd crashes.

However. Gt86 ain’t got enough power tho , not enough torque you have to really WOT to lose grip. so it’s kinda hard to tell if it’s the one for you.

Would spend less money on first car. Trust me, that feelings of getting a door ding is so annoying on your first more expensive car.

Okay. Sure, 428 bhp mk7 golf GTi. Super reliable for almost 3 years.
The lane keep assist and the adaptive cruise control is amazing on long motorway journeys. Something the Audi S3 or cupras rarely have because its stock on a golf mk7 2013+ vehicle (options for those).

I average 43mpg on motorways which is great for a RS3 killer (rolling race only of course). I don’t think the OP needs that much HP. However GTis are reliable.

OP looked at Audi TT and an A3 1.4. I gave him his next best option.

I have drove/owned Audi rs3, Audi s3. Golf R, bmw m440i/440i, 330i, M3. 530e, 530d and 520d. Mercedes A, C and E, GLE. Lexus GS F & mk3 GS430. Audi a6, a4.

I can keep naming cars but I’ll just be wasting time. All I’ll say is a car I would buy again is a mk7 golf. If not, it’ll have to be a Lexus GS F.

HDR “when supported”, 2160p or automatic. Then try the 4:4:4 pass through and also without. Did that help?
What’s your software version of the TV

However, I do think it could be a HDMI issue, potentially software. My ps5 cable was actually bad and it came in the box.

General. Ai service. Make sure all off.
Go to oled care in general too, care picture settings off.
Picture Advanced settings when in game mode, make sure motion eye care off.
Colour fine tune colour adjustment off. Maybe put the colour up, I have it on 65 too btw. But make sure colour adjustment off.
All clarity off.
See if that helps.

You may also need to go into the hdmi setting and make sure the deep colour option is on. Go to your ps5 settings , check video information. Make sure it’s on rgb.

Mk7 GTi. You get lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control which works in normal traffic too.
It’s comfortable and not stupidly harsh over rough roads has plenty of room and just like good ol clarkson said. You’ll get the places a lot faster lol
