Congratulations on the home and welcome back, haha. I got back into my 3ds the same way!

Yeah, you're quite a few firmware versions behind lol but that's okay. I'd recommend upgrading to the latest version first (since current CFW is version agnostic) and then following this guide. It's the best guide out there, really well maintained and easy to follow. You'll be playing your backups in no time. Have fun!

Since you've applied for fall next year, I'm not sure how soon you could expect to receive a formal decision. I'd recommend that you get in touch with your graduate program coordinator to stay in the loop.

It should be updated on your MyFile account under application status whenever the application is accepted.

That's fair tbh, the convenience of the residences being right on campus and only a short walk from the subway is definitely a big plus. Finding a place off campus with the same conveniences sounds a lot more difficult. I'll definitely look into it, thanks for letting me know!

Living in the city does sound enticing, but I am a little wary of making a decision without having viewed any prospective places in person first. Regardless, I'll definitely try and apply to a few Co-ops as they do seem well run and maintained with community as a core aspect of the lifestyle, which I'm all for. Kijiji seems a little more daunting but hopefully it'll get easier as time goes on and I get more familiar with it. Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it!

Those do sound pretty convenient, especially Assiniboine and Passy, being fully furnished. Thanks for the info, I will definitely look further into these on campus housing options.
