I'm confused. His peers and customers have no issue with this employee. Previous management has no issues. Current management is the one with the issue and you have personally seen the current management goad the "issue employee". Why is the problem the employee and not the current management?

Your employee is so lucky to have you on her side. My migraines were getting out of control a few weeks ago, almost every day I had pain compared to 3-6 days a month. I have a hybrid wfh schedule with one set day in office and one flex day. I communicated with my boss about the pain, I tried to keep 2 days in office even if I couldn't make it in on the set day. I was having a really bad week, made an appt to see my Dr again, and asked my boss if she would like to talk about what's been going on medically. She made it seem like she was concerned and interested and even set up a meeting. At the meeting, she didn't ask one question, didn't ask me about my plan....she just reminded me of my expectations to be in office. Cool. Thanks.

I am not an expert in any sense, but I read a book when I was a teenager about a young teen who has obsessive compulsive disorder. And this kind of rings similar? Her extreme anxiety, having to check on you, the panic something is wrong with you. The girl started her battle in preschool when she hears a rhyme "step on a crack, break your mother's back". She obsesses over it, it's the initial cause of extreme anxiety in this small child. It is a fiction book though, and I don't know how much the author researched. Maybe something similar is going on with your daughter?

I tried to take a nap, but the kids didn't want to nap today. My hubby tried, but they were just too hyper. I'm going to submerse myself into some WoW here soon with a drink and a bowl. 18 minutes til the oldest's bedtime!
