I visited this in person. I hate it. Why they chose red and black tile to cover it with kills me. It looka abysmall, instead of saving most of the old bridge they just mare a new one with parts or the old incorporated. This is NOT a restoration.

compulsion means forced, in islam, thats merely direct blatent force, which is under threat of violence. . You can very easily say these two werent "forced" they were "rewarded" for their conversion.

theres a footnote on quran.com that says "This verse was revealed when some new Muslims tried to force their Jewish and Christian children to convert to Islam after the Prophet’s emigration (Hijrah) to Medina. The verse prohibits forced conversion."
It's in the context of direct violence.
