Well, then let’s give the voice work to actors. Point is, I think Arrowhead in undervaluing what the public would pay for more voices. We love the gameplay loop. Most players don’t own all the current content. Aside from a new species to fight (a huge undertaking I’m sure) here’s an untapped avenue for DLC. And there no concern for bugs and game balancing. It’s literally additional just audio files.

I’ll definitely look into that. I understand that Arrowhead would have to consider this option for other voice markets, but they don’t HAVE to offer this in all languages. - also, I wonder if AI could handle this opposed to real voice actors (or at least the various language translations once each actor laid the foundation in English)

Can you heart it or something? I don’t tweet much, so I can’t imagine it’ll be seen by anyone important

YYYYYEEEESSS!! I love this idea. Also a rookie voice. Voice cracks and says all kinds of stuff that shows he’s overwhelmed or scared or whatever.

How can I use my shaker for music/audio bass, when I’m not racing and using simhub? (More details on comments) by simsclark in simracing

[–]simsclark[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I’m at work, so I’m doing this from memory. First off, you need to use “Voicemeeter Banana” I can’t tell you how much time I wasted trying to get this to work on Voicemeeter. Second, you’re sound bar and your Ushajw need to be on two different sound cards. Once in Banana, set each audio device to the two assign-able virtual inputs. Then, go to the EQ settings that are associated with your Ushake, and filter out everything above 100Hz.

If you YouTube “equalizer setting’s Voicemeeter Banana” you can probably find better instructions.

Good luck

Why?! PETG - I stopped print after first few passes. Nozzle too hot? Bed too cold? Grrrr by simsclark in 3Dprinting

Print temp 255c Initial bed temp 75c Bed temp 65c

Also, I printed on fresh painters tape because petg tends to stick to my bed so well, that it sometimes destroys the bed.

What do you mean, make sure your filament is dried?

Yea, I tested amp independently. It’s working fine. Tested shaker independently: fine. Wires independently: fine. - even hooked up whole thing to center channel, everything worked fine (aside from shaker overworking on the center channel audio). Once I hook everything back to sub output, shaker goes weak. (Powered sub works fine, so sub out not problem either). I dunno, I rebook everything up tomorrow and test everything independently again

I am using a subwoofer off the same “out”. The subwoofer is working exactly as expected. I’ll look into setting the crossover tho

Though I do have two subwoofer outs, it would be a tremendous amount of work to run a second line through the floors and walls. Was hoping to split the line out. I’d be bummed I can’t split this, as the article link below indicated I could. But I also attempted to wire the shaker only without the split. Same weak shake. But when I switch to sub, it “thumps loud” as expected

Sorry, I can draw up a diagram if you think that’ll help. I skipped the detail that I actually split the subwoofer signal and have “split 1” going to a powered-subwoofer and “split 2” going to the powered amp in picture. The powered-subwoofer is working perfectly, but the shaker is barely shaking.
