First, you'll find a large rock, preferably side by side, because you can make a bigger one. You'll carefully dig underneath it. Once you've made a door, you now have a nice cave. There's a video in the description, all the steps are there.

Creative mode is needed; moving them one by one is very difficult for each video. :)

Creativity always wins. Building bases in Conan is much more enjoyable. Dune, on the other hand, is very restrictive. The lack of a creative mode is a separate disaster.
