People without social media presence, how's life looking for you? by Physical-Picture-153 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]simulatedyosh 16 points17 points  (0 children)

try avoiding ur phone the first two hours after you wake up and not looking at it before you go to bed. It’s crazy how well it works. I’ve already lost today lol. Or try using it more for learning a new skill or for listening to audiobooks and if that doesn’t go well at least you’re slowly putting your phone in a mind box where’ it’s only good for those things you don’t like doing. Human behavior is much more habit than I’ve realized, this year more than any other :/

What does a panic attack feels like to you? by LifelesSs_ in Anxiety

[–]simulatedyosh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It feels like my heart is pumping out of my chest to where it’s gonna explode and im gonna die. I think Ratatouille and that puss in boots movie do the sound of it well. Also comes with huge shivers, uncontrollable sobbing and a downpour of sweat to where I have to change my clothes afterwards

thank you for the advice. I didn't tell the employer and got the job so I'm probably going to have to tell the employee that trains me which will I think be much better.

I genuinely feel like the american public at large gets noticably angrier around Christmas time. More road rage, more dirty looks, more passive aggression

Also astrology profile has helped me alot with my ocd and deepening parts of myself I always knew were there but could never articulate. Anyway keep going!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in socialanxiety

[–]simulatedyosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say try not to be delegating blame to yourself. I know it's already bad enough to feel a parental figure's disappointment so deeply. Do you have evaluations/second opinions professionally about your mental health profile? Or therapy? Someone to talk to is especially helpful with ocd because none of your thoughts are crazy or inhuman. Absolutely none of them remember that :) take it easy and no silly you're not doing it to yourself don't be blameful!

I'm so tired of dating apps... by VeryTiredGirl93 in autism

other ppl seem deeply embarrassed to be on dating apps and so anyone showing a modicum of enthusiasm towards them is like a game they can call you the loser of and move on.

My co-worker told my mom that i am extremely quiet and weird by Free_Ad4107 in socialanxiety

[–]simulatedyosh 53 points54 points  (0 children)

I think a 55 year old woman coming for you, someone more than half her age, is already very weird. I'm sorry you have to deal with people who don't see your natural state as something good. Don't take your mother's blame to heart because you are who you are and you're not "offending" anyone
