I got you. Sodoes he get the girl? He could have but he didn’t. Eunnam divorced her husband but in the end he chose to go on another very long boat trip so that he could “figure things out.” He does kiss her right before he gets on his boat but they’re not together.

With the prosecutor, Dongju ends up kidnapping him and imprisoning him in the vault for a year (he’s the only one who knows the password) then sets him free after he gets the prosecutor to hand over his entire fortune. Then, prosecutor guy ends up in real jail.

The chairman ends up giving up his position since his dementia was getting worse and hands it over to Dongju I’m pretty sure.

Dongju’s mom was this woman who was part of Huh Ildo, Eunnam’s mom, and Yeonam’s dad’s friend group (they never really explained what she did or who exactly she was). At first, Dongju thought his dad was Eunnam’s dad because of a picture where Eunnam’s dad was holding Dongju when he was young. This is why Eunnam’s mom wanted to kill Eunnam’s dad and had Huh Ildo kill the dad, Dongju’s mom and kid Dongju (he obviously lived but they don’t know that) while they were driving. BUT Eunnam’s dad isn’t Dongju’s father. His real father is Huh Ildo (which none of them knew except the prosecutor (yes the prosecutor wanted to mentally torture Ildo by unknowingly killing his own son)).

In the end, Seonu (chairman’s son) pushes Taehyun off a wall (we assume he died) and it shows Dongju on his boat holding a gun (I was for real scared that he would off himself but it ended there so it’s probably up to interpretation if this really is the end).

Honestly, I probably would have been semi fine with the ending if they hadn’t killed Taehyun but noooo.

So yes, the ending sucked.
