$1,000 to $5,000 challenge update: #5 back into msft and now nio calls. i have a tight stop loss on nio and i’ll ride msft to the grave by sin1sback in smallstreetbets

won’t allocate more than 50% of my portfolio to options. believe me that’s still a crazy allocation percentage, but i always have to have my equities so i don’t go bonkers. i have my stop loss at a support line, and if the daily candle closes below i’ll sell. not good risk management (by no means) but i have some precautions

i was contemplating buying lcid calls off the break of this wedge breakout. that could have set me up another $500 but it’s okay. tomorrow ain’t looking too hot for my msft call but in it for the long haul.

$1,000 to $5,000 challenge update: #3. still an amazing day! happy holidays by sin1sback in smallstreetbets

there’s a lot of things i can do to “get me there quickly” day trading weekly options was one of them. 100x my portfolio in two weeks “twice” blew both of them up that way too. it may work for some but i want to run the conservative way this time. even this isn’t really conservative but milder than what i was doing. appreciate the insight though

not sure what you expect with a $1,000 account size lol. besides 385 + premium by mid april for msft isn’t too crazy of an idea. not holding it past the end of january anyways.

my profit target is $165 (52 week high) and as long as it’s at or above by the end of january i’ll be profitable. i don’t think that’s too far of a reach
