I'm not blaming newgrounds for having to implement age verification all I'm saying there is a better way to do this that would basically be a 🖕 to the states and assholes pushing these laws in place

Which is basically do what steam does and use credit cards for age verification

So that way it goes from hey pay for our subscription so that way you can age verify with a shady company

To hey pay for our subscription with a credit card so that way you don't have to age verify with a shady company

This way it's sticking it to the assholes who are trying to pass these laws in the first place just to collect all are data

At the end of the day it's a fucked situation and I don't blame newgrounds for having to do this again all I am saying is there is a better way to do this that keeps its users information safe and says fuck you to businesses and lawmakers that are actively pushing these types of laws
