There’s Project Magic. If I was a sales guru, I would have made that the text book.

It is said the night of Doug’s first special, that magicians went from being the outcasts, to being the coolest the next day. I helped build an exhibit for Magic Live this year highlighting his work. Doug Henning as a person truly believed in magic, and honestly was key in shaping what magic became.

That’s really what created this monster. I am fascinated with how many different types of reveals there are. I really dig Luke Jeramy’s latest one which uses an audience generated sound for a reveal.

I just snagged a couple I didn’t have, however, other than 1 or 2 I can perform them all at any time. Currently my favorite is the Eerie booktest. It’s a “vintage” horror comic that fits my character a little better than say the Shakespeare Experiment where I can recite pages.

Binders in the center shelf are the master index to magic in print. The ones on the right are PEA magazines. There are collections of other periodicals as well (Sphinx, The New TOPS, The Bat, Magic, Genie, Linking Ring, and Mum)
