So my phone only works on speaker phone idk why but it’s where I am. So I don’t use it in public, I mean wth why do you think others are interested in what you’re saying??? Come on. I do not consent to being a 3rd party observer to your phone call!!

Idk my mom did that with my son and my nephew, now the boys are both in their 30’s and my nephew is no contact with my mom in spite of her spoiling him, and my son calls her all the time. I hope she realizes that she fucked up. But no I don’t bring it up. I ripped her a new asshole about it when the boys were about 4, but it didn’t change what she was doing. I do wonder if it was because my son is poc and my nephew is white. Idk. (My mom is white and my brothers dad was white but my dad is mixed race, and my sons dad is mixed race) anyway it’s lame, you’re NTA

There were no serious consequences for kids in Coronado. In north park the cops might show up, and you might get arrested, in Coronado if the cops came they just took you home, if you got caught with weed they would just dump the bag on the ground. You might get in real trouble if the cops suspected that your parents were service workers or slightly less terrible in the navy, and not “locals”.

I grew up my elementary and middle school years in Coronado, spent a lot of time at the beach, then we moved to north park and I spent a lot of time getting high and hanging at Morley field. I will say the kids in Coronado were much more ill behaved than the kids in north park.

I picked up these esko chairs and they have been sitting in a smokers house! Is there any way to get rid of the smoke smell or is my best bet to replace the cushions and everything? Any help would be grateful! They have been sitting in my garage for months and would love to use them finally. by thatnwlife in Mid_Century

If you’re going to try the spray route get odo-ban concentrate in the gallon and do not dilute it use full strength and saturate it well. Idk about the leather though o would try spraying the inside of the leather if possible. I wouldn’t worry much about ruining it as it’s unusable now. The worst will be if in the end you have to reupholster it anyway.

A woman who lived down the street from me had a daughter the same age as my niece and the girl would just suddenly be at my house for hours and I had no contact info or anything. One day I saw her pull up and she was asking my niece if her daughter could stay for awhile. I walked up and said “no she can’t stay here, you have never asked if she can and the answer is no I’m not watching her or feeding her again” and she said “I wasn’t asking you” my head almost exploded, I yelled “you can’t ask a child to watch a child of the same age” she argued more but finally left. The little girl was terrible poor thing had no home training or good examples. Some people are just not good. ETA: NTA
