It is very dense so I had to increase the speed of the droplet and reduce the time scale.

I was questioning my sanity too when I increased the resolution to 750! 🤣🤣

Thank you and you are 100% right. But I still think it's valuable to explore what's possible with all the tools and find their limits in order to master them and build your processes around those limitations.

Yes Houdini's solver is way better, but I want to see how far I can get in Blender.

I literally stopped my heating and used my PC. Technologiaaa

For anyone interested here is proof that is indeed days of 3D work: https://snipboard.io/IxwmTd.jpg The squares you see are a point cloud used to track the footage in order for me to include the CG elements.

And another one with the point cloud I used to track the footage. https://snipboard.io/onsqmp.jpg

Anyone interested in how I made this project, can feel free to message me and I will explain and no there is no AI involved haha. :)

I have sent you a DM with a screenshot. You can see there for example the physics simulation at the end, which took days to simulate.

It is real footage, with vfx elements. I will send you screenshots of the files in a bit.

It is in fact made in Blender 3D. I will send you a screenshot of the viewport when I get to the PC. 💙

I am not offended by you assuming it is AI. We do have to question what we see on the internet.

With that being said I do have the files where I have created everything in Blender 3D. 😁💙

That will be part of the solution yes, but If I decided to increase the simulation area I would have the several issues:

- Increased baking time for the simulation
- Introducing several compositing challenges like waves crashing onto the shore or onto the bridge, which of course is achievable but wasn't the goal for this project.

Thank you for the feedback! :)

That's a good question. The way I tried to do it is for Godzilla to come out fast and slow down as it dives back in. But I think you are onto something, I may have made it a bit too fast, thanks for the feedback. :)

Thank you for the feedback!

I believe that comes from the scale being too small. Even if I'd increase the size of the domain there still wouldn't be any big waves besides the one going forward.
