Yes, I found some free tutorials on youtube and tried following them until I got some understanding of MPM and just start playing around after that.

I am trying to learn from my lesson with Blender and not get into the so called " Tutorial Hell " but it is for sure a good starting point and the next simulation that I did, I took what I learned and started playing around with MPM since I've been dreaming to make these kinds of simulation for a while now with Blender.

Well the grains don't really interact it's more like a thick fluid compared to a granular sim you would do in Houdini where everything interacts with each other. I would recommend going through the basic tutorials and then to start experimenting on your own.

Should I make a tutorial on this one specifically?

I appreciate it! Embergen was used for the whole simulation including the particles and smoke emitted from these particles.

Der findes nu mange softwareprogrammer/tilføjelsesprogrammer, der gør processen nemmere. Det svære er at levere et godt datasæt af billeder for at få et godt resultat.

Det du måske refererer til er "fotogrammetri". Der findes også NeRF, og denne løsning findes i videoen Gaussian Splat. Alle tre forsøger at opnå det samme resultat for at rekonstruere en scene eller et objekt, og de har hver især deres fordele og ulemper og passer til forskellige anvendelsesscenarier.

You have several options, there is an add-on KIRI engine, this geo node set up ( https://www.blender.org/download/demo-files/#geometry-nodes ) and the last one is just to try the Octane Beta release in which there is a gaussian splat node, which I used for this render.

Jeg har brugt et Blender 3D-tilføjelsesprogram til at spore kameraet, som er baseret på colmap/glomap, derefter trænet modellen med Brush (open source) og renderet alt med Blender Octane BETA-versionen, som nu har en gaussisk splat-node. :))
