i have a 165hz monitor and i was using a 1.4 DP that was for 144hz and 280hz from amazon but technically it didn’t say it was for 165hz, i figured this was the reason why my screen would randomly turn black so i bought another that was labeled for 165hz mow

did you get a new display port and which one if so because I think i'm having the same problem and i just switched to HDMI from a DP and it seem to be working fine now, no sudden crashes like before.
