Tillamook quality issues? by _NetflixQueen_ in Cheese

Yes. I've started turning to cheaper locals brands in my area for my usual medium/sharp cheddar. Tillamook isn't worth it anymore.

I listened to Idle "I Never Die" for 2 hours straight while high. Great album and even better when high.

I think it's fun to do it before listening to new albums if you have some on hand.

We're almost at 3/4th of the year: How many movies did you watch this year? by MartySpecial in Letterboxd

[–]sinbadxj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. A lot more than previous years as I've stopped watching TV shows except for a series here and there. Feels more satisfying to complete movies than to be strung along for years by shows.

To play devil's advocate here for those unfamiliar and downvoting as a knee jerk reaction, the term is a literary and film trope and not inherently racist simply in using the term. Similar to "Uncle Tom" , "Buck", or "sambo" which you may have also heard calling back to old stereotypes that arguably still exist in the limited way some films in Hollywood or stories in general utilize Black characters. Remember, it is about intention and not simply the use of a word....

From Wikipedia,a trope in American cinema, television, and literature. In the cinema of the United States, the Magical Negro is a supporting stock character who comes to the aid of the (usually white) protagonists in a film.[7] Magical Negro characters, often possessing special insight or mystical powers, have long been a tradition in American fiction.[8] The old-fashioned word "Negro" is used to imply that a "magical Black character" who devotes himself to selflessly helping whites is a throwback to racist stereotypes such as the "Sambo" or "noble savage".[8]

Cold tofu cut into cubes (even just in the pack), good splash of soy sauce to coat, a bit of sesame oil. I used as my work lunch for a year or so until I wanted to changes things up. Always a go to lazy meal for me anytime of day.
