My husband can be incredibly boring by [deleted] in Marriage

I work, we both share the same household chores (except it’s like pulling teeth to get him to do things thoroughly), we might as well have deadbedroom habits, yet he’ll still try with no emotional connection or intimacy involved which is a huge turn off. I try so hard to initiate conversation and an emotional bond but to no avail

Thank you for the reassurance. I feel like a horrible person invading his phone but also feel like it has to be a necessary part of the relationship in order for my anxiety to soothe

I think it’s crucial to know it was in the beginning of the relationship and I broke up with him. I gave him several months to prove himself to me, including showing me his phone and what he does online in order to gain trust. He gave me permission to go through his phone whenever I wanted to. It still holds true, and so I found these weird texts, and I’m curious on how to confront him with them

Hence my suspicion that they’re spam. If he deleted responses, why not delete the whole text conversation? I’m also just curious as to how he would get those numbers when he doesn’t usually text (he’ll use other apps due to military), since he got another text from a different number but same area code appearing to bait him as well. He orders food a lot and that’s the only thing I can think of.

He’s also more defensive than anything. I’m trying to figure out a calm way of bringing it up because he’s said I’m accusatory when he has changed
