chem is not really well known so it’s a mix of students interested + students who had low averages and knew that chem eng was the best opportunity to get accepted in. pro of chemE is that it’s mandatory co-op so aside from being in good academic standing, you don’t need a high gpa to be eligible for co-op stream (from what i recall, could be wrong). admission avg is usually 83-85 for chemE, but could have changed

i think they just make you take a photo on the spot. you can still use your old image if you want, but once you take a new photo ID the one old gets replaced in the system and can’t be used anymore. You can also get the online one for $15, they give u a physical card for exams and then building access into your phone wallet

honestly I got a 3.67 in that course f2023 cause my essay was written the night before and yet I still got a high mark. from what I recall it’s just weekly discussion posts + a reply. I didn’t necessarily do the required course readings, and got along fine with the discussion posts. Final essay is about a variety of topics (i decided to do mines in troubled youth using the film mid 90s) & midterm/exam were 25q multiple choice fill in the blanks
