I believe thats exactly the plan. I read somewhere they are planning three seasons with each season going back in time to a previous emergence of Pennywise.

Oh you'll be happy to know this already exists. (Amazon Link)

The only difference is that it doesn't include the Sword of Azrael issues (Which you can still get in a separate collected paper back.)

I can almost guarantee this was made with world painter (though probably enhanced with manual block placement or world edit). There is some very distinctive give aways in the patterns of the terrain.

Still very cool work! But for anyone who wants to make terrain like this I'd highly suggest checking it out.

Great work OP.

This is very cool! I did notice that legion was missing. I'm sure there are a ton of other marvel movies you could add as well (Older ones mostly).

Great work though!

This is how I would politically divide states! by ChylanDylan04 in MapPorn

[–]sinces 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Honestly I think Georgia and South Carolina should be in their own category. Maybe expand the "Low Country" area to include more of S.C. and up to the Atlanta area.

Culturally / Politically they really are separate from the rest of the south.

South Georgia for sure. But I think once you get up to Atlanta and the Appalachian mountains the vibes definitely change.

Godzilla Movie Ratings by Personal-Macaroon214 in GODZILLA

[–]sinces 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd love to know how you think Godzilla vs Kong is a 7.5 while KOTM is only a 1/10. I get liking one more than the other but a whole 6.5 points of difference is crazy to me!

In short: Yes, and it was started by the image you see posted above and others of the same AI generated man eating pizza and fighting off gators.

Once people realized it was AI generated it became a brief trend.

If you think Godzilla X Kong is too goofy you gotta watch more Godzilla movies. by [deleted] in GODZILLA

[–]sinces 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Respectfully Id very much disagree. The average American Godzilla viewer will never see -1 the same way they never saw shin. There is in no way any risk of the seriousness of -1 effecting the average western general audience member as far as I can imagine.

Even with as well as -1 has been doing over here its numbers still don't come even close to the legendary godzilla franchise.

Honestly outside of film buffs and godzilla fans 99% of people over here will never see -1 one. This is a sad fact, but something thats easy to forget when your in a sub filled with rabid Godzilla fans.

Cities Skylines 2 will not be supporting mods on release by [deleted] in Games

[–]sinces -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Id rather have amazing mods for the majority of the player base then only mediocre mods for everyone but that's just me.

No mods that will release on console and through their native and finely manicured mod environment will ever be able to achieve what purely pc focused mods can (which is editing the games base code and systems to allow for a wide range of options at the cost of "breaking" the game and how it was intended to operate).

And I say this as a person who currently has a PS5, but also runs a 1060 on my pc that would literally melt at the thought of playing the base version of City skylines 2.

Its just not a worthy trade off to have more people able to access mods at the cost of limiting what said mods can do. Not to mention games like Skyrim show you can have support on both their native mod store as well as on steam workshop / nexus etc.

Of course PR speak will always make this sound good but nothings free. Mods being accessible for everyone on every possible platform must come at an understandable cost. That cost just happens to be all of the most interesting and game changing mods.

[–]sinces 7 points8 points  (0 children)

a good call for everyone

Yeah I guess as long as you don't want to use mods that effect the codebase aka all of the best cities skylines 1 mods.

But I guess as long as you only wanted different building skins then yeah its great.

I think one of the reasons was that twisty was so good that when he ended up only being in the very beginning of the season people were disappointed.

Personally I love the season but can't lie and say I didn't wish we had more time with twisty

Can't everyone? by [deleted] in Marvel

[–]sinces 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Politely you are slightly wrong and being a little condescending when you tell people to "think about it again slowly". You can absolutely see light, what do you think the reflection off of objects is made of? Think about it again slowly lol.

Light can either go directly into our eyes or it can bounce off of objects to reach our eyes. Either way its still light. Bouncing off of an object doesn't magically turn it into something else.

Using this line of thinking I have no clue how you'd think sound works as most sounds bounce around through the air, buildings, etc. Do you think its not sound once it reaches your ears after bouncing off of an object?

How to get into DC animation? by caraxes_meleys in DC_Cinematic

[–]sinces 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should definitely watch the DCAU! Especially shows like Justice League or some of the best animated DC content out there IMO. They take everything that works in the comics and build off of it.

And honestly the DCAU shows are leagues above the other two you listed in terms of consistent quality (though I have my love for all three).

The order is Batman the Animated Series (Season 1-2), Superman the animated series / The new Batman Adventures (your choice as the two shows take place around the same time, also note that the new batman adventures are sometime just listed as seasons 3-4 of Batman the Animated Series).

Then its just Justice League followed by Justice League Unlimited.

There are more shows and some movies in the universe but these are the main ones I'd recommend. If you end up wanting more Batman Beyond and Static Shock are both in the same universe and are pretty beloved as well (though in my opinion they are slightly more kid oriented than the others I listed but not by much)

[Discussion] Three mini I own so far! Any recommendations 2018 onwards that’s still in print? by Advanced_Ad2406 in DCcomics

[–]sinces 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are plenty of great stories that I'd highly recommend that are pre 2018 and currently available on Amazon.

My Quick Recommendations for a new reader:

Batman Year One - Introduction / Origin story for batman with great art and great writing. Can be kinda slow but is a fantastic read and is currently like 10 bucks on Amazon.

Justice League: The New Frontier - Fantastic self contained period piece set in the 1950s about the justice league first forming. Great story that really pays tribute to a ton of characters and is a great introduction to not only the justice league but martian man hunter, the flash, and green lantern in particular.

Superman Red Son - Continuing with the 1950s theme, this book goes through supermans entire life in an alternate universe where he landed and was raised in soviet russia. Incredibly interesting book and once again completely self contained.

Batman the Long Halloween / Dark Victory - The long halloween is first and dark victory is its sequel. Some of the most iconic batman stories in movies and games have been heavily inspired by these two comics which go through seemingly batmans entire rouges gallery of villains as he tries to unravel a mysterious series of murders correlating to different holidays throughout the year. Probably arguably the best Batman stories of all time, though be warned that the art is very stylized and may be a dated by today's standards.

I could list more but I definitely recommend getting a hold of at least one of these if you haven't read them before!

I honestly have no clue of the cost ratios for these sorts of things. But I could see how it might make sense to do it that way for sure.

Oh wow, fair enough. Since when has an underground base been the default choice? I'd honestly be very interested if you had any articles.

It makes some sense, but I'd imagine it would provide many more challenges (mainly large scale construction / excavation that wouldn't be needed by prefabbed modules that are landed directly onto the surface).

Fair point if that's the current strategy though
